Position Summary

For the Business Unit, Trauma & Emergency Medicine, we are looking for an Account Manager based in South Central UK to effectively sell Teleflex’s Trauma & Emergency Medicine portfolio to new and existing Hospital & Emergency Services accounts. Embracing Teleflex’s Core Values, the successful person will strive to develop strong long-term relationships with customers & colleagues to achieve strategic business and revenue objectives within a dynamic team.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Effectively grow the product portfolio in to new and existing hospital & Emergency Services accounts:
o    Work with the Business Unit Manager to understand, manage and develop a prioritised regional business plan to achieve local strategic and revenue objectives.
•    Develop strong long-term relationships with customers to achieve strategic business and revenue objectives:
o    Work collaboratively to develop engagement and business development across Major Trauma Networks
o    Work ethically and to Teleflex’s business principles when engaging customers.
o    Identify and engage with account stakeholders in each account.
o    Work with customers to identify value propositions and opportunities.
o    Attend and exhibit at national conventions/seminars to gain new customers through the detailing of products. Where local provide all necessary assistance as requested.
o    Complete Teleflex’s CRM & reports as required and on time.
•    Engage, build, and maintain productive relationships within Teleflex:
o    Contribute to team business development and activities.
o    Engage with internal customers such as Customer Care, Marketing, Clinical Medical Affairs, and other Strategic Business Units
o    Understand Teleflex’s broader product/service portfolio.
o    Work across other teams to develop strong Teleflex - Customer relationships and business opportunities.
o    Proactively participate in National & EAME initiatives when required.
•    Continually develop business & interpersonal skills:
o    Continuously improve portfolio product/service knowledge, value proposition.
o    Proactively embrace the personal development & review process to further business and personal skills
o    Participate and engage in agreed training programs.
o    Be compliant with Corporate Compliance and Ethical Values
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    2 years minimum experience within a sales role in a multi-national, multicultural environment is essential.
•    Excellent customer ethic, good attention to detail and ability to complete timely progress reports according to requirements.
•    Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills. 
•    Good level of verbal and written English language is essential. 
•    Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Trained health professional an advantage.
•    Knowledge and aptitude for medical devices or Healthcare sector a preference.
•    Always possess a valid driver’s license.
