Position Summary

The successful candidate will assist Domestic and International Tax team and outside consultants in preparation of state income tax returns and U.S. information tax returns for foreign subsidiaries of Teleflex. Basic accounting skills, attention to details, and ability to work as part of a team are necessary for this position.

Principal Responsibilities

• Prepare state income and franchise tax returns as assigned.
• Assist with state tax related projects and research.
• Build workpapers and files with documentation and schedules supporting state tax returns.
• Assist with U.S. Federal Tax filings for domestic and foreign Teleflex entities.
• Populate U.S. information returns and various supporting schedules required to be filed for foreign subsidiaries of Teleflex.
• Build workpapers and files with documentation and schedules supporting U.S. information returns of foreign subsidiaries of Teleflex.
• Provide assistance in calculating and preparing schedules in support of foreign tax credit calculation.
• Assist with preparation of W8BEN-E forms and certification requests for Teleflex subsidiaries.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited higher education institution
• Minimum 2-3 years towards accounting or finance degree
• Basic accounting/finance/business courses required, intermediate accounting courses preferred
• Basic understanding of balance sheet and income statements is a must
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• Detail oriented with good organizational skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
