Position Summary
Perform various detailed, technical accounting processes as part of the monthly close process and in the preparation of the Teleflex monthly consolidated financial statements; analyze financial data at local entity and consolidated levels; prepare schedules and analysis to support management and public reporting. Perform limited administrative functions for Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and FDMEE consolidation systems.

Principal Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
- Prepare detailed consolidated roll-forward schedules for various key balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare various schedules on a quarterly basis related to EBITDA, segment reporting, and other areas in support of quarterly 10-Q / 10-K preparation.
- Prepare guidance for divisions related to accounting for legal restructuring of entities and other equity transactions. Review division results to ensure transactions are recorded properly.
- Interact with controllers for worldwide business.
- Assist in the development of corporate accounting processes and policies as required.
- Assist in the preparation of data for, and review with, external and internal auditors.
- Perform detail, technical accounting processes to support the monthly financial statement consolidation, as follows:
- Prepare consolidation journal entries, including updating data for and developing new entries as needed.
- Prepare consolidated roll forward of Goodwill, Intangibles, PPE, and Equity.
- Elimination of investments in consolidated subsidiaries.
- Analyze investments in non-consolidated subsidiaries.
- Manage detailed process for the preparation of the Rule 3-10 financial statement disclosure quarterly.
- Assist the HFM administrator with monthly close tasks or other administrative tasks related to the HFM and FDMEE systems.
- Other tasks and projects as required.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
- 2 to 3 years of accounting experience required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and transactional/analytical ability to take on a variety of technical tasks.
- HFM and/or SAP experience a plus.
- CPA a plus.
- Experience in or auditing of a large international manufacturing company a plus.
