Position Summary

This position assists the Interventional Urology (“IUBU”) Compliance Officer to ensure the Anticorruption Compliance program is aligned with the 7 Effective Elements of a compliance (plus the 8th Element from the UK Bribery Act) program as well as the companywide compliance program.  With direction from the IUBU Compliance Officer, the Senior Compliance Analyst will assist with the improvement and day-to-day activities of the IUBU’s Anticorruption compliance program and system.      

Principal Responsibilities

•    Assist the Compliance Officer to align the IUBU’s Anticorruption Compliance program with the 7 Effective Elements of a compliance (plus the 8th from the UK Bribery Act) program and the Teleflex Anticorruption Compliance program.
•    Assist the Compliance Officer with periodically measuring the effectiveness of the IUBU’s Anticorruption compliance program to develop and implement appropriate recommendations.
•    Assist the Compliance Officer with developing, implementing, and improving Anticorruption policies and procedures for the IUBU to help ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, accounting, and contractual requirements.
•    Assist the Compliance Officer with developing, distributing, and delivering effective training and communications in support of the Teleflex Anticorruption Compliance Program in the IUBU. Deliver virtual or live trainings, as needed on ethics and compliance topics, and capture analytics to measure training completions and effectiveness. 
•    Assist the Compliance Officer with conducting auditing and monitoring activities, including transactional testing, Congress/Tradeshows, product training, and education, and field ride monitoring, as necessary, in support of the Americas Compliance Officer, Auditing, and Monitoring.
•    Assist the Compliance Officer with IUBU Compliance Investigations as requested. 
•    Assist the Compliance Officer with the management and review of internal/external facing presentations and materials (including industry presentations, communications, emails, and programs) as well as review documentation review process related to all marketing materials.
•    Promote awareness of the Teleflex Anticorruption Compliance Program. 
•    Performs other duties as assigned or required to help ensure an effective IUBU Anticorruption Compliance Program in North America.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a degree in Healthcare, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field being a plus.
•    At least one to two years of industry experience preferably with a multinational organization similar to Teleflex.
•    Familiarity with laws and regulations associated with the above risks and related controls is required.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Strong written and oral communication skills. 
•    Three to five years of medical device, pharmaceutical, or other healthcare experience.
•    Strong organizational, attention to detail, and task follow-up skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.
•    Energetic, flexible and self-motivated, with an analytical mind. Able to gather, analyze, evaluate facts, and reach appropriate conclusions. Able to work independently, often without assistance or supervision.
•    Strong time management and document management skills with a fine attention to detail.
•    Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the company.
•    Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software. Emphasis on Excel.
•    Highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
•    Strong people and customer service skills.
•    Excellent project management and process improvement skills.
•    Team player; ability to collaborate with others and work effectively as a liaison between multiple areas.
