We are looking for a Manager of Aircraft Maintenance to join our dynamic team in Wayne, PA.  As the Manager of Aircraft maintenance, you are responsible for performing high quality aircraft maintenance in support of the utilization of aircraft within Teleflex Flight Operations.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Ensuring safe maintenance and line operations.
•    Preflight, servicing and detailed inspection of the aircraft before each flight.
•    Be present for each departure and arrival (if possible) to meet the aircraft, assist with the passengers, parking of the aircraft, post flight debriefing with the flight crews, light cleaning and coordinate the larger cleaning and polishing to be accomplished on the aircraft.
•    Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and replacement of parts on the aircraft.
•    Helping to provide efficient and timely scheduling of all maintenance and repair. 
•    Establishing schedules for maintenance and procure competitive bids for periodic inspections, general overhaul, repairs and modifications. 
•    Work closely with the Flight Department Manager for scheduling service center visits, develop the work scope, be present with the aircraft at the service center to ensure the work is being accomplished. This includes oversight of cost management - invoice reviews - review of aircraft logbook entries, 8130 tags, flight manual supplements, weight and balance revisions and insuring aircraft flying status after its return.
•    Work with manufacturer to fill out warranty claim forms for applicable parts covered under warranty.
•    Establishing and maintaining records as required by FARs, manufacturers and company policy. 
•    Monitoring these records, if maintained by outside agency.
•    Ensuring compliance with appropriate Service Bulletins (SBs) and Airworthiness Directives (ADs).
•    Directing compliance of minimum equipment list (MEL) maintenance procedures and safety manuals.

Principal Responsibilities Continued

•    Establishing maintenance safety rules and procedures for hangar operation, aircraft ground operations and flight operation daily operations. 
•    Establishing a workshop, which would include spares and ground support equipment inventories.
•    Ensuring that flight department personnel are thoroughly familiar with company policies, appropriate FARs, pertinent manuals, practices and publications
•    Assisting with development of flight department policies 
•    Assisting with preparation of short- and long-range safety and operational plans 
•    Assisting with preparation of the annual operating budget, reviews of the budget as required and assessment of aircraft costs studies. 
•    Helping ensure that maintenance and flight crew personnel understand the company’s objectives and each other’s needs and requirements.
•    Establishing programs for maintenance technician proficiency training, reviews and upgrades, in accordance with FAA and company requirements. 
•    Establishing aircraft handling procedures. 
•    Establishing safety requirements for hangar space, ground operations.   
•    Helping to monitor security and environmental affairs, OSHA, including completing material safety data sheets on all chemicals, fire drills and safety training. 
•    Helping to coordinate activities of the maintenance department with flight operations. 
•    Assuming responsibility for maintenance and upkeep of the aviation hangar and office facility. 
•    Assume supervisory management functions and responsibilities if additional maintenance personnel are added to the department

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of.
•    A minimum of 5+ years’ experience with broad knowledge in the maintenance of aircraft of the category, class and (preferably) type that the company operates. 
•    Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificates 
•    Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred or willing to obtain.
•    Background of verifiable practical experience as an active aircraft maintenance technician. 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Proficiency with computer technology and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
•    Valid drivers' license and be able to maintain insurable status 
•    Valid passport 
•    Ability to perform unscheduled work on the aircraft which may include non-scheduled workdays and holidays. 
•    Travel to support trip dispatch reliability, service center visits, and training.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

•    Support of company aircraft at base hangar, service centers and remotely.
•    Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside.
•    Carry up to 50 lbs. and lift equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.
•    Standing, walking, using ladders and/or mechanical lift equipment
