Position Summary

Teleflex is seeking an International Tax Analyst to join our Tax department.  This position will be involved in all aspects of international income tax compliance, foreign income inclusion calculations, non-U.S. income tax provisions and other tax projects.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Collect information required for U.S. tax reporting of foreign subsidiaries of Teleflex.
  • Prepare federal information returns for foreign subsidiaries (Forms 5471 and 8858) including calculation of earnings and profits, foreign income inclusions (GILTI and Subpart F) and prepare disclosures for cross border transactions. 
  • Assist with foreign tax credit calculations and manage foreign tax payment documentation to support the credit claimed on the federal tax return. Assist in preparation of Form 1118.
  • Assist in quarterly and year-end review of provision of assigned foreign entities and assist in preparation of foreign income inclusion calculations.
  • Assist in preparation and review of W8-BEN forms.
  • Perform tax research and participate in special tax projects as assigned.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with the Teleflex Code of Ethics, all company policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Complete other duties and tasks as assigned.
     

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics required; A CPA ans/or Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of tax experience with a Big 4 national accounting firm or a US multinational corporation is preferred.
  • Prior experience with OneSource Income Tax, OneSource Tax Provision, HFM and SAP is a plus.
     

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team on multiple time-sensitive projects without daily supervision.
  • Proficient skills in the Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and problem solve.
