Position Summary

This position will be involved in all aspects of international income tax compliance, foreign income inclusion calculations, non-U.S. income tax provisions and other tax projects.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Collect information required for U.S. tax reporting of foreign subsidiaries of Teleflex.
•    Prepare federal information returns for foreign subsidiaries (Forms 5471 and 8858) including calculation of earnings and profits, foreign income inclusions (GILTI and Subpart F) and prepare disclosures for cross-border transactions. 
•    Assist with foreign tax credit calculations and manage foreign tax payment documentation to support the credit claimed on the federal tax return. Assist in preparation of Form 1118.
•    Assist in quarterly and year-end review of provision of assigned foreign entities and assist in preparation of foreign income inclusion calculations.
•    Assist in preparation and review of W8-BEN forms.
•    Perform tax research and participate in special tax projects as assigned.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics; CPA and/or Master’s degree a plus.
•    1-2 years of tax experience with a Big 4 national accounting firm or a US multinational corporation is preferred.
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong analytical and organizational skills.
•    Ability to work as part of a team on multiple time-sensitive projects without daily supervision.
•    Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•    Prior experience with OneSource Income Tax, OneSource Tax Provision, HFM and SAP is a plus.
