Position Summary

The Sr HR Business Partner will collaborate with HR and business leaders to help develop and lead the Global HR strategy for their area of business. The role will provide leadership and direction to finance, legal, compliance, and other corporate functions focusing on learning & development, talent acquisition, and nurturing a culture of high performance. This role will report to the Sr HR Director, Global Functions.


Principal Responsibilities

•    Manages core HR processes including headcount planning, talent acquisition strategy, talent selection, performance management, compensation administration and review, career development, leadership development, and succession planning 
•    Serves as an expert on all HR processes for internal customer groups
•    Manages and executes headcount plan by partnering with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers
•    Delivers best in class employee experience by working with appropriate process owners and stakeholders in onboarding, training and talent development and core HR business processes  
•    Continuous learning to stay up to date with HR trends, employment law updates, and compliance requirements
•    Leads and/or participate in HR team or business initiatives and special projects
•    Facilitates and delivers training to employees on Global Talent Development curriculum 
•    Enables building a culture to enhance Teleflex core values, engage our people, and focuses on patient outcomes

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree, Master preferred
•    PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SP preferred
•    8 yrs. min Human Resources experience. Preferably in a Generalist or HR Business Partnership capacity
•    Experience with HRIS systems, data analysis, and reporting preferred

•    General understanding of labor laws and human resources compliance preferred
•    Excellent communication and influencing skills
•    Demonstrated business acumen
•    Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures is a plus
•    Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, in a team-oriented environment.
