Position Summary
Teleflex is seeking a Compliance intern to join our Corporate Compliance department. The successful candidate will learn about the elements of an effective compliance program within the Medical Device Industry. The candidate should be organized and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong time and document management skills with high-degree of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities are necessary for this position.
The Compliance Intern will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of a medical device company while gaining hands-on work experience in a corporate setting during this paid internship.
This internship is based out of our Wayne, PA office and the candidate must be available to be onsite a minimum of 3 days/week onsite. The ideal candidate will be available to work 32 hours/week during Summer 2025, with the potential to extend the internship into the Fall on a part-time basis.
Principal Responsibilities
• Assist with Testing plans for the Compliance Testing and Monitoring Plan.
• Participate in meetings by maintaining action items and following up as appropriate in addition to documenting meeting minutes
• Collaborate with the Global Compliance Team as needed related to tracking actions and remediations to Compliance topics.
• Respond to routine training and associate follow up as needed.
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with the Teleflex Code of Ethics, all company policies, rules, and procedures.
• Complete other duties and tasks assigned.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university. Preferably pursuing a Healthcare, Business, Accounting, or legal degree.
• Minimum of three years towards their bachelor’s degree.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• Proficient skills in the Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and problem solve.
• Ability to collaborate with others.
• Ability and motivation to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Unquestionable ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Energetic, flexible and self-motivated with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to gather, analyze, evaluate facts, and reach appropriate conclusions.
• Ability to collaborate and be a team player.
