Position Summary
The Production Operator will satisfactorily perform each essential duty along with a variety of repetitive and or routine operations to complete the assembly or packaging (automatic or manual) of a variety of QuikClot® brand hemostatic agents.
Principal Responsibilities
• Visually inspect all raw materials, detecting any defective or improper material on the production line.
• Visually inspect lot numbers for traceability, expiration dates and pouch seals.
• Perform repetitive motions.
• Perform various material handling duties such as moving and lifting material to supply the variety of stations needed for production utilizing pallet jacks rolling carts and hand trucks.
• Adhere to all quality, safety and work rules and regulations.
• Effectively communicate with other members of the staff.
• Perform a variety of general housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Report any quality issues, following all standard operating procedures and communicate findings verbally, in writing or through a translator.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• Understanding of equipment operation utilized in the packaging operations
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $17.54- 24.57,however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
