Position Summary

This position will be responsible for the elongation, cleaning process of tubing material, and cross-trained in the braider operation and oven coating operation.     

Principal Responsibilities

•    Operates machinery and equipment for stage processing of tubing manufacturing and braider operations with secondary cross-trained in the insulating process.
•    Follows specification/process sheets  
•    Accurately uses specified measuring equipment and other approved gauging instruments following prescribed procedures to meet specifications.
•    Documents and records data used in traceability reporting, statistical process control data collection, customer
•    Compliance, and quality assurance of products.
•    Identifies when the process is out of specification and recognizes when to notify quality
•    Follow QA procedures and requirements
•    Follow safety procedures, good housekeeping practices, including the use of required PPE.
•    Follow environmental policies and procedures

Education / Experience Requirements

•    High school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred and one to three years related experience/training or equivalent manufacturing experience.   

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Must be able to stand for 8 plus hours per day
•    Must be able to lift material weighing up to 50 pounds with material handling device.
•    Must be able to operate manual and automatic elongator.
•    Must be able to distinguish flaws in raw material as well as differentiate in color hues.
