Position Summary
This role is crucial for ensuring the production of high-quality tubing products while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Principal Responsibilities
• Machine Operation: Operate various machinery and equipment to manufacture tubing, tubing prototypes, braiders operations and secondary cross-trained in the wire insulating ovens.
• Adherence to Specifications: Follow specification and process sheets in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Quality Measurement: Use specified measuring equipment and approved gauging instruments accurately to meet product specifications.
• Data Documentation: Document and record data for traceability reporting, statistical process control, customer compliance, and product quality assurance.
• Process Monitoring: Identify out of specification processes and notify quality control when necessary.
• Quality Assurance: Adhere to QA procedures and requirements to ensure product quality.
• Safety and Housekeeping: Follow safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping practices, and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Environmental Compliance: Adhere to environmental policies and procedures.
Education / Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred but not required.
- Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• Knowledge of operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with GMP and QA procedures
• Ability to document and record process data accurately.
• Awareness of safety protocols and environmental policies.
• The employee is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers, handle or fell objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 500 pounds with the aid of material handling devices. Specific vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
