Position Summary
Teleflex is seeking a high-performing Senior Technical Sales Manager to lead strategic business development and account growth within our advanced tubing, coated mandrel wire, conductor, and film insulated wire product lines. This is a remote US based position. This leadership role focuses on complex OEM customer engagements, advanced solution selling, and long-cycle technical partnerships that deliver significant revenue impact. As a senior member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in expanding our footprint in high-value markets—particularly through collaboration with engineering, product development, and operations to deliver tailored solutions that meet rigorous performance, quality, and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with deep technical acumen, strong industry relationships, and a track record of exceeding targets in high-complexity manufacturing environments. The position has strategic oversight of key accounts tied to the Teleflex Trenton, GA facility and offers significant opportunity to influence the future direction of the business.
Principal Responsibilities

Revenue Growth: Expand strategic accounts and drive new business opportunities.

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute territory and account strategies with cross-functional teams.

Executive Relationships: Manage high-level customer engagements as a trusted technical advisor.

Account Management: Lead strategic planning, business reviews, and contract renewals to ensure growth.

Technical Expertise: Collaborate with R&D to translate technical challenges into market-ready solutions.

Industry Knowledge: Apply advanced tubing, conductor, and fine wire expertise across medical, aerospace, and industrial sectors.

Early-Stage Development: Drive design discussions and DFM input to accelerate timelines and optimize costs.

Market Insight: Identify emerging trends and provide strategic feedback to shape product direction.

Brand Representation: Serve as a senior ambassador at industry events and trade shows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure seamless execution by partnering with operations, QA/RA, and supply chain teams.

Leadership & Forecasting: Influence resource planning, risk mitigation, and revenue optimization strategies.

Contract Negotiations: Manage complex agreements, aligning financial goals with long-term growth strategy.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably with OEM or contract manufacturing companies in high-precision components or materials.
- Demonstrated success in managing large, strategic accounts and complex solution sales cycles.
- Strong background in extrusion, wire-based components, or catheter and delivery system technologies.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
- Experience in medical device, aerospace, or other regulated, high-reliability industries.
- Familiarity with coated wire applications, catheter systems, or polymer/metal integration processes.
- Travel 50%
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $150,000 - $190,000 (inclusive of commissions) however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Commissions will also vary depending on individual performance. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at will position", and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
