Position Summary

Provide HR leadership, counsel, and support to regional leadership management and, sites Human Resources direct reports. Develop and implement effective human resources strategies that drive overall business objectives, including Organizational design and effectiveness, Key talent development, Change management, employee relations, talent acquisition and retention, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Leadership and team development.

Directs the planning, development, implementation, administration, and budgeting of most or all of the following human resource functions in the respective region: compensation, benefits, employment, employee relations, equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, organizational development, HRIS, training, and company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives. Advises company management in personnel policy and program matters, making or recommending appropriate decisions as consistent with strategic direction. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
 

Principal Responsibilities

•    Act as HR strategic business partner to the Regional leadership in developing regional business strategies
•    Develop and lead people strategy in the respective region to align with the business goals 
•    Direct human resources activities in the respective region, improve HR performance against the pillars of attract, retain, engage and develop 
•    Responsible for workforce planning, talent management, performance management, development, succession planning and organizational effectiveness
•    Responsible for people budget by analysis annual financial impact on people costs
•    Ensure of all legal and all local employment law requirements compliance and consistent execution of Human Resources best practices to meet business objectives.    
•    Review and design compensation and benefits programs in the respective region in line with Corporate strategy in talent retention
•    Develop and analyze the Performance of the Human Resources Function through various indicators such as: Turnover, Absenteeism, Employee Seniority and Educational Levels, Organizational Climate Surveys, etc. to Measure, Monitor, and Detect Significant Trends.
•    Leads the Teleflex CSR Program in respective region
•    Develops policies and procedures to plan, manage and evaluate employee performance.
•    Coordinate implementation of services, policies, and programs and serves to the management team and assist and advise company managers on HR issues
•    Develop and execute employee communication strategies, foster good relationship and ensure effective communication among employees, Company and the  community
•    Develop HR staff with the high level of competencies and skills 
•    Ensure Company’s Core Values are incorporated into all strategies related to talent development 
•    Keep abreast of all employment law changes and ensure that the company’s remains compliant with these changes
•    Raise any concerns around employment law compliance with Teleflex Senior Management 
•    Perform other duties requested by management.
•    Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex’s Code of Conduct, all Company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeing standards.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree or MBA preferred. 
•    10 year’s Human Resouces Management experience
•    Organizational design experience in developing teams and structures to support business strategy
•    Experience in developing and executing Change Management programs across multiple sites 
•    In depth understanding and knowledge of employment law and employment best practices in respective region – Mexico and US
•    Fluent in English and Spanish
