Import / Export Assistant

Position Summary
Responsible for preparing documents for the company's products’ import and export. Must follow up on the monthly reports related to the area. Main function is to provide assistance to the Import and Export Department.
Principal Responsibilities
- Perform daily import and export operations.
- Elaborate the Complementary Bill of Lading for Import and Export movements.
- Work on the revision file, confirming that the part numbers have classification, permission, cost and their Packing List.
- Prepare the complementary Bill of Lading for local warehouse movements, including the preparation of the Packing List.
- Feed the catalog of products and services for the elaboration of the complementary Bill of Lading.
- Perform the SCRAP reports uploading into the SEER Traffic program.
- Work the fixed asset file, including photographs, identification number, and location.
- Provide support with the weekly closure of import and export customs declarations.
- Support with Anexo 30 reports when required.
- Request permission from COFEPRIS and keep track of its balance, as well as its expiration.
- Request an Import Regla Octava and keep track of its balance, as well as its expiration date.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related Administration, Foreign Trade and Customs or other relevant field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience or more in the same position.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
- Fluent in English (preferred).
- Proficiency in SAP and Traffic systems (preferred).
- Familiarity with supply chain principles, inventory management, and production planning.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 13485.
- Work site is located in Tecate, Baja California (Local position).
