Position Summary

The incumbent establishes, builds, and maintains professional relationships with KOLs and effectively communicates the therapy’s value proposition to all stakeholders. As an integral member of the Sales team, this position partners with cross-functional teams to communicate current market conditions and develop accounts to adopt the therapy. This position requires thorough knowledge of the urology field, a demonstrated track record of launching disruptive technologies in the urology space, and the ability to work independently.

Principal Responsibilities

Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota for the defined area.

Lead annual strategic planning process. Develop therapy development plans, market & revenue models, and identifies strategic initiatives both in short term and long term.

Maintain a monthly and quarterly territory plan that outlines territory sales objectives and areas of vulnerability.

Provide monthly forecasts for the defined area.

Effectively communicate therapy’s value proposition to customers.

Qualify, train, assess, and ultimately develop accounts to adopt the therapy as an integral part of their disease practice with the goal of demonstrating high account adoption.

Communicate current market conditions and recommend improvements to the commercial process.

Partner with Clinical Medical Affairs to deliver outstanding clinical and training support to ensure physicians quickly become clinically independent.

Build and maintain relationships with key customers and KOLs within the defined regions.

Partner closely with the Line manager, Sales team, and Marketing team to identify and prioritize customers for higher-level corporate relationships.

Partner with the Customer Service team to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Partner with the Line Manager and Finance team to ensure all required sales reporting forms are completed and submitted on time.

Provide support for the resolution of product complaints and/or safety issues.

KOL developing program planning and execution.

Proactively support organizational goals and objectives, policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Authority regulations, including strict compliance with Teleflex Customer Relationship policies.

Maintain a professional and credible image with key physicians, consultants, suppliers, and teammates.

Establish and maintain credentials to enter and work in hospitals and other medical facilities as required by facility requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience Requirements

Tertiary level education preferred

Thorough knowledge of the field of urology and urology products, and strong relationships with local urologists highly desired.

Operating room or therapeutic delivery experience strongly preferred.

Minimum 3-5 year of sales experience preferred

Independent and highly self-motivated and result driven.

Fluent English communication ability.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

A demonstrated track record for meeting sales objectives in a Medical Consumable company; year over year results.

Strong capability to open New accounts and service customers.

Proven ability to “system” and “circular” sell within accounts i.e., handholding order opportunity through depth and breadth of customer stakeholders.

A good understanding of the medical consumable industry, and, in particular, the Urology industry.

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of people having varying backgrounds, education and experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, etc.

Demonstrated functional experience in areas such as strategic selling, Key Account Management.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Nursing is preferred.

Minimum 3-5 years of Sales experience with a leading medical consumable company.

Minimum 2-3 years of marketing experience is a plus.

Sales experience in Taiwan market is a MUST.

Knowledge in disposable or consumable market will be advantageous.

Based in the Teleflex Taiwan Taipei office.
