Position Summary

The above role is responsible for promoting and selling our products directly or indirectly to hospitals and medical professionals. The incumbent will build strong customer relations through excellent customer service.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Accountable for achieving business plan within assigned accounts and delivering profitable growth.
  • Attend to doctors or KOLs (i.e Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologist) in private or government hospitals.
  • Work directly with hospitals on tenders and consignment stocks or to work with channel partners on tenders.
  • Provide technical support, including tools maintenance, testing, directly or indirectly to field and inquiries from doctors, promptly.
  • Assist implantations/procedures, performs follow-up closely.
  • Resolve issues and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Ensure strategic account plans are developed and implemented effectively.
  • Manage key processes and procedures while maintaining compliance to established business and healthcare compliance regulation guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Initiate sales activities aligned with company objectives.
  • Support marketing team on programs, workshops or congress, as and when required.
  • Support clinical studies, if any.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering or related field of medical discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-year relevant experience, preferably in medical industry.
  • Strong written and verbal skills in English.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • High level of energy and passion to drive products to the assigned accounts.
  • Basic knowledge of working in sterile room environment and medical device product lines
  • through direct physician interaction and procedural consultation.
  • Able to identify, establish and develop relationships with doctors to support company product lines.
  • Knowledge of providing clinical support to Surgeons during procedures a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization and customers.
  • Basic knowledge of key trends within the medical device segments and has the ability to identify potential opportunities.
