Job Purpose

 

The Strategic Initiatives & Commercial Excellence function is a strategically positioned unit that equips commercial teams in Teleflex Asia Pacific (APAC) with the right set of capabilities to drive strong business growth. The unit focuses on strategic organic & inorganic growth initiatives, sales & marketing excellence, customer experience, digital transformation, business intelligence and analytics.

 

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Tech Lead to design Salesforce applications for our evolving CRM requirements to drive Digitalization and Omnichannel / Customer 360 efforts. This individual will be responsible for designing and developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform and play a critical role in all aspects of CRM integration and implementation, including architecture, design, system testing, and user acceptance testing. This will involve meeting with relevant stakeholders, analyzing user requirements, coding new Salesforce applications, creating customer workflows, maintaining user roles, and troubleshooting application errors.

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

CRM Strategy & Digital Capability Building

  • Provide thought leadership and guidance to commercial teams on Salesforce capabilities to guide Digitalization and Omnichannel / Customer 360 efforts
  • Collaborate with Digital and Commercial teams and drive results by continuously optimizing the customer experience by running test-and-learn sprints, documenting failures, and scaling successes
  • Demonstrate how Salesforce CRM data, analytics and complementary digital technology can guide and improve the effectiveness of sales & marketing initiatives

 

Application Development

  • Meet with relevant stakeholders to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment
  • Evaluate existing sales & marketing processes and determine potential Salesforce-enabled enhancements, including opportunities for sales & marketing automation
  • Oversee solutions design and delivery, including integration with existing architecture, third-party software, and vendor solutions to enable Omnichannel / Customer 360 efforts

 

User Training & System Administration

  • Train commercial teams on Salesforce capabilities and customized solutions to encourage user adoption and usage
  • Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform
  • Provide system administration support of Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflow

 

Essential Skills/ Experience

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of Salesforce CRM application development work experience in E-Commerce, FMCG, Consumer Health, Pharma, Medtech, or related industry; consultancy, agency or start-up experience is an asset
  • Software engineering skills and proficiency with Apex, VisualForce, Native, MySQL and JavaScript; Salesforce Developer Certification preferred
  • Experienced in Agile development methodologies such as XP/SCRUM and project management
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools
  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration, object-oriented design patterns and development, as well as ability to problem solve complex software and application issues
  • Familiarity with Data Science, Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cluster Analysis, etc., is a plus

He / she must have extensive experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems.

 

The candidate should also possess strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to persuade, influence and assert in a challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced environment. He / she should be able to work across geographies and functions to deliver on Salesforce applications across APAC.
