Job Purpose

 

The Strategic Initiatives & Commercial Excellence function is a strategically positioned unit that equips commercial teams in Teleflex Asia Pacific (APAC) with the right set of capabilities to drive strong business growth. The unit focuses on strategic organic & inorganic growth initiatives, sales & marketing excellence, customer experience, digital transformation, business intelligence and analytics.

 

We are looking for a talented Digital Marketing Lead, who will play a vital role in developing digital engagement strategies and delivering health care professional (HCP) digital marketing and customer engagement programs. This individual will partner with relevant business unit (BU) sales and marketing teams to build a clear digital strategy and integrated multi-channel marketing plan to drive full-funnel activation and to optimize lead conversion.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Digital Marketing & Content Strategy

  • Lead HCP digital marketing strategy development, leveraging both inbound and outbound marketing tactics to drive full-funnel activation
  • Define digital content & media strategy, oversee content planning and development, in collaboration with BU sales and marketing teams
  • Provide strategic input into technology stack design as it relates to websites, content management systems, marketing automation/technology tools, onsite & offsite analytics, social media, digital platforms, and CRM integrations

 

Digital Content & Channel Management

  • Develop, adapt, manage, and optimize digital content, together with the implementation of the suitable content management system (CMS) in collaboration with global, regional, country stakeholders
  • Manage content calendar and submissions across countries by working closely with BUs and in-country marketing to refresh and optimize digital content, media, websites, apps
  • Establish standards and best practices for digital communications, channel & content management

 

Digital Campaign Execution & Platform Management

  • Partner with BUs and in-country marketing to build out digital platforms/channels to execute HCP digital marketing strategy
  • Lead cross-functional digital activation teams to set up, launch, manage, and optimize digital marketing campaigns (e.g. PR, email marketing, display ads, social media, SEO / SEM, webinars, A/B testing), as well as orchestrating across face-to-face and digital channels for greater personalization
  • Supervise day-to-day activity across various digital platforms to ensure achievement of customer engagement goals (e.g. improving customer experience, increasing digital engagement, growing website traffic, and increasing brand loyalty)

 

Digital Marketing Analytics

  • Monitor and report on appropriate digital platform/channel analytics and KPIs to track progress on full-funnel activation effectiveness, campaign attribution, and return on investment for digital media (owned, earned, paid), inbound and outbound marketing tactics
  • Analyze digital marketing campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and suggest opportunities for improvement on customer engagement, acquisition, conversion, and retention
  • Conduct digital media monitoring and social listening analytics to track the impact of digital marketing campaigns and HCP sentiment towards Teleflex and its key product brands (i.e. Arrow, LMA, Rusch, Weck, UroLift) in APAC

 

Digital Capability Building

  • Provide thought leadership and guidance to commercial teams on digital marketing and omnichannel customer engagement trends and their implications on the business
  • Collaborate across commercial teams and drive results by continuously optimizing the customer experience by running test-and-learn sprints, documenting failures, and scaling successes
  • Demonstrate how digital marketing and analytics can guide and improve the effectiveness of sales & marketing initiatives

  • APAC Senior Director, Commercial, APAC BU Directors, APAC BU Market Development Heads
  • Country BU sales & marketing teams, on an as-needed basis, depending on the nature and scale of Digital Marketing initiatives

 

Essential Skills/ Experience

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications & New Media, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of work experience in E-Commerce, FMCG, Consumer Health, Pharma, Medtech, or related industry; consultancy, agency or start-up experience is an asset
  • Digital native, with a strong passion for new technology innovations and applications
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in Digital Marketing, SEO/SEM, Display Advertising, Web Analytics, understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce), Email Marketing, Social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Wechat, etc.) and Digital Campaign Management preferred.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, including multi-touch attribution, impression tracking, customer journey, omnichannel/campaign analytics methodologies, and marketing analytics
  • Proven track record in leading digital marketing, omnichannel marketing, campaign design with an emphasis on optimizing the overall customer experience to drive business results
  • Strong project management and consultative problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence, communicate and present well
  • Experience in innovative product development methodologies such as Design Thinking, Agile, Lean Startup is a plus

He / she should be able to work across geographies and functions to deliver on Digital Marketing initiatives across APAC to drive strong business growth.
