Position Summary
Maximize market share, adoption, and revenue of Arrow® Vascular Access products across both public and private healthcare networks in Chile, meeting sales targets through a value-based consultative strategy and hospital technical-clinical support.
Principal Responsibilities
• Plan and execute the commercial strategy for the assigned territory to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quotas.
• Identify and develop business opportunities in existing accounts and new customers within the assigned private network.
• Maintain up-to-date sales opportunities, forecasts, and commercial interactions in Salesforce.
• Continuously build and update the opportunity Funnel with the distributor, including new business opportunities for the TFX line in the territory, and participate in monthly business reviews.
• Attend and participate in monthly sales meetings, reporting on field activities, customer performance, and the indirect opportunity funnel.
• Implement the "Balanced Seller" sales tactics with direct customers and the distributor's sales team.
• Provide bedside technical-clinical support in the ICU, HDU (UTI), operating room, and cath lab, promoting best practices for device insertion, securement, and care.
• Resolve technical inquiries from physicians and nursing staff regarding device usage and procedure-related complications.
• Design, coordinate, and deliver technical workshops and certifications on infusion therapy, ultrasound-guided insertion, the Seldinger technique, and HAIs (Healthcare-Associated Infections) prevention.
• Analyze and prepare the technical criteria of proposals for public procurement, Mercado Público tenders, and framework agreements (convenio marco) in conjunction with the distributor.
• Develop long-term relationships with clinical Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and economic decision-makers in hospitals.
• Coordinate operations with Clinical Specialists, Customer Service, Operations and Logistics, Regulatory Affairs, and Tenders departments.
• Maintain active networks with nursing leadership, intensivists, anesthesiologists, nephrologists, HAIs committees, procurement, and purchasing departments.
• Base consultative sales on clinical evidence, cost-benefit studies, and international guidelines.
• Manage complex institutional sales cycles, aligning the needs of the medical, nursing, and administrative sectors.
• Communicate and teach healthcare professionals clearly, adapting training to user needs.
• Act ethically, adhering to industry compliance standards, with a steadfast focus on patient safety.
• Autonomously manage schedule and hospital routing, demonstrating strong planning, achievement orientation, and resilience against commercial or administrative barriers.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Required: professional degree in University Nursing (Enfermero/a Universitario/a) with a valid license registered at the Superintendencia de Salud de Chile.
• Required: 3 to 5 years of proven commercial experience in high-complexity medical device sales in Chile.
• Required: proficiency in infusion therapy, central and peripheral vascular access, clinical complications, and local HAIs regulations.
• Required: knowledge of public procurement in Chile, including Mercado Público tenders, direct awards (tratos directos), and large-scale purchases (grandes compras).
• Required: valid Class B driver's license and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM platforms.
• Desirable: clinical hospital experience in critical care areas such as ICU, ICU/UPC, anesthesia, or dedicated IV/catheter teams and infusion therapy.
