Principal Responsibilities

  • Entwicklung innovativer Designvarianten von Medizinprodukten, insbesondere vaskuläre Implantate

  • Definition von Designspezifikationen

  • Bewertung und Optimierung von Designentwürfen mittels der Finite-Elemente-Methode

  • Durchführung komplexer Analysen im Rahmen der Produktvalidierung

  • Ermittlung und Spezifizierung von Werkstoffkennwerten

  • Erstellung von QM-Dokumenten

  • Testung von Prototypen

  • Erstellung von Projektplänen und Kontrolle des Projektverlaufes

  • Erstellung und Bewertung von Patenten

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Abgeschlossenes Hoch- bzw. Fachhochschulstudium in den Fächern Biomedizintechnik, Allgemeiner Maschinenbau oder Physik

  • Erste Erfahrungen im Umgang mit CAE Software mit Schwerpunkt in der Numerischen Simulation (Strukturmechanik, Strömungsmechanik)

  • Gute Kenntnisse in Kontinuumsmechanik, Biomechanik sowie Anatomie und Physiologie des Herz-Kreislauf-Systems

  • Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in Produktentwicklung und Qualitätsmanagement im Bereich der Medizintechnik

  • Hohes Maß an Kreativität und Innovationsfähigkeit, selbständig, teamfähig, engagiert, zielorientiert

  • Sehr gutes Englisch in Wort und Schrift
