Indicated for the treatment of symptoms of an enlarged prostate up to 100cc in men 45 years or older. As with any medical procedure, individual results may vary. Most common side effects are temporary and include pain or burning with urination, blood in the urine, pelvic pain, urgent need to urinate and/or the inability to control the urge.1 Rare side effects, including bleeding and infection, may lead to a serious outcome and may require intervention. Position Summary

The Sr. Manager, Strategic Pricing & Contracts plays a vital role in evolving and reshaping the pricing strategy for the U.S. Sales Team.  As an integral member of the Commercial Team, this position works cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Customer Service, Legal, Reimbursement, Product Development, Sales Training, Strategic Accounts, and Corporate Partners. This role leads a variety of projects, including commercialization plans, cross-functional team management, business analysis, program analysis, and influential interaction with the U.S. Sales Team.  This position covers all aspects of the pricing strategy by supporting interactions with customers on product inquiries, quotations, and all related transactional processing from new customer set up, pricing, and contracting to revenue recognition.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Pricing and Contracting: 
-    Lead transformational developments for the pricing strategy for all products
-    Challenge the status-quo and evolve pricing strategies with a data-driven and customer-centric approach
-    Lead communication and collaboration with Sales and Sales Leadership 
-    Develop, report, and drive change with key pricing and profitability metrics
-    Develop and manage of Pricing Committee process 
-    Provide sound business recommendations based on pricing policy, market activity, and reimbursement landscape
-    Perform qualitative analysis of potential pricing impact of pricing contracts
-    Lead direct employees to proactively generate and track pricing and rebate contracts. This includes but is not limited to:
     o    Modification of standard contract templates to included specific outside party information and/or other basic information; correspond with parties to review and execute standard agreements 
     o    Partner with Legal to ensure outstanding pricing and rebate contracts are tracked and fully executed agreements are in place
     o    Monitor expired contracts and work with responsible parties to extend as needed
-    Update and maintain all pricing in SAP and other systems as required
-    Calculate rebates and guide the Finance Team with appropriate monthly accruals
-    Conduct and provide meaningful analysis to the organization on issues relative to pricing
-    Partner with internal stakeholders to develop strategies and recommendations to optimize Teleflex Interventional Urology’s pricing and contracting effectiveness, patient access, and competitive advantage
-    Lead customer negotiations that drive for higher overall revenue and more advantageous Terms & Conditions for Teleflex
-    Understand sales dynamics, incentives, and opportunities 
-    Develop and deliver sales-facing and customer-facing content, including presentations and data sheets, to train and inform audiences, as well as guiding others to create content
-    Lead adoption, optimization, and implementation of CRM Systems Solicits competitive intel from internal team and provides further analysis for pricing strategy and recommendations
-    Partner with Reimbursement and Sales Operations Teams to align on pricing strategy and resource deployment
-    Partner with National Accounts Team on IDN strategy and contracts 

•    Sales Operations Ad-Hoc:
-    Support sales team by performing various ad hoc analytics that drive action and opportunity within the US Sales Team
-     Create, design, & maintain reports/dashboards related to revenue and pricing
-    Manage revenue analytics as requested from the commercial team

•    Other:
-    Perform other duties as requested

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field of study; or equivalent practical experience
•    At least 7 years of relevant finance experience with a track record of outstanding performance
•    At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a medical device company in a progressively complex role, among which a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the pricing, contracting, rebate, and GPO administration
•    At least 3 years of people leadership experience
