Position Summary
The Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (QA/RA) Communications Manager ensures our company’s employees are informed and motivated. This role is responsible for the strategy, development, and deployment of a clear and active line of communication and engagement within the global QA/RA organization and to the Teleflex enterprise at large. The QA/RA Internal Communications Manager will report to the Director of QA/RA Enterprise Excellence.
Principal Responsibilities
Development and management of a thoughtful, values-driven internal communications program that strengthens employee culture, connection, and engagement. Key responsibilities are:
• Defining a global strategy, successful launch, and ongoing management of an internal culture communications campaign. This responsibility includes the creation of branded multi-channel communications and establishment of a post-launch review and feedback process to evaluate performance and make continuous improvements.
• Development and Management of the QA/RA Newsletter, Global QA/RA Resource Center (SharePoint), and internal messaging board. This role is responsible for the content, messaging, and design of the campaign in addition to the collection and refinement of content from other corporate functions.
• Support and enhancement of internal, organizational initiatives and activities such as companywide presentations, townhalls, and executive management reviews.
• Partnering with global Marketing and Communications teams to ensure alignment with corporate brand.
• Providing other departmental support as requested by immediate supervisor.
• Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex’s Code of Conduct, all Company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards.
Qualities of a strong candidate:
• Has a wide degree of creativity and initiative with a keen ability to transform ideas into reality.
• Can demonstrate a proven track record of developing and managing multi-channel internal communications campaigns
• Has experience with common design and communications programs (including experience using CMS systems like Microsoft Sharepoint)
• Is motivated by the opportunity to partner with leadership and local champions to improve and strengthen a company's culture and communication processes.
• Has strong executive communications experience and a natural ability to gain consensus.
• Can write and tailor content for specific audiences that demonstrates a deep understanding of messaging, positioning, and stakeholder needs.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media, including video.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.
• 5 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, and design skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills.
• Experience in building a culture of quality preferred.
• Medical Device experience preferred.
