Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Engineer to join our IT Team to help support our key business systems (ERP, HRIS and Expense Management) in a global medical devices manufacturing business. This role will be well suited to someone looking to further develop their existing skills in systems management and knowledge of ERP, HRIS and expense management. The key systems that are being implemented are IFS for ERP and UKG for HRIS along with 2 3rd party Payroll platforms in non-US locations.
The primary goal of this role will be to support and enhance the features of the systems to aid growth across the business. You’ll be engaging with key stakeholders, helping facilitate the changes required as our business grows either through acquisition or expansion into new markets. You’ll also be responsible for the regular testing and upgrading of the platforms as new releases are provided by the vendors.
You'll also be responsible for making configuration changes to the business applications, adhering to change control process and working with key stakeholders throughout the organisation to support and enhance key business processes and the user experience of the system.
***This position is based remotely in the US, with a strong preference for candidates in eastern or central time zones.***
Principal Responsibilities
• Administer users in line with our Access Policy
• Raise and detail change requests for complex features and implementations
• Understand and implement best practices
• Escalate issues to the systems vendors support function when required
• Assist with development and testing of the system
• Provide responsive technical support for issues on our business systems
• Become an expert on business systems and provide ‘how do I…’ type support to our users
• Take the lead on ensuring that new releases are tested and verified and then brought into production as they become available.
• Environment management
• Complete system validation in line with federal requirements
Education / Experience Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate
• 2+ years of related experience required.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and governance including policies, procedures and change management
• Experience of Process Manufacturing
• Commercial experience administering ERP and commercial systems, ideally IFS and/or UKG, and a knowledge of their technical features
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate continuous learning
• Computer literate
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages especially Excel and PowerBI
• Knowledge of ERP, HRIS and Expense systems
• Well organised

• ERP-systems, Commercial systems, HR systems, MS Power Automate, MS PowerBI, Excel.
• SQL queries

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $87,400-$131,100, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
