Interventional Urology – NeoTract is dedicated to developing innovative, minimally invasive and clinically effective devices that address unmet needs in the field of urology. As part of the Teleflex Interventional Urology business unit, NeoTract’s focus is on improving the standard of care for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) using the UroLift® System, a minimally invasive, permanent implant system that treats symptoms while preserving sexual function*1,2. Indicated for the treatment of symptoms of an enlarged prostate up to 100cc in men 45 years or older. As with any medical procedure, individual results may vary. Most common side effects are temporary and include pain or burning with urination, blood in the urine, pelvic pain, urgent need to urinate and/or the inability to control the urge.1 Rare side effects, including bleeding and infection, may lead to a serious outcome and may require intervention. Position Summary

The Director, Interventional Urology Finance leads the finance organization in financial planning and analysis activities for Teleflex’s Interventional Urology Strategic Business Unit (SBU). He or she will strive to provide “best in class” financial support.  They will closely support the VP, Finance and Interventional Urology GM in all activities and collaborate extensively with the business unit team members and corporate, to ensure that the Interventional Urology SBUs develop and execute sound and successful operating plans, and that it ultimately achieves its goals. He or she will be expected to work with cross functional team members and the VP of Finance to develop accurate financial forecasts and key metrics to track SBU performance on a monthly and quarterly basis. This individual will also play a key role in facilitating Interventional Urology investment prioritization process as well as their strategic plans.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Develop Monthly Forecasts with actionable risks and opportunities
•    Reporting of Key Operating Metrics and Executive Dashboards
•    Consolidation of Monthly Senior Leadership Review Package for both BUs
•    Work closely with accounting on a monthly basis to “close” the books and monitor key accruals affecting the SBU to ensure reserves are adequate 
•    Lead cross functional teams to develop the strategic plan and annual operating plan for the SBU
•    Develop proformas that allow the Interventional Urology leadership team to prioritize and evaluate new product investments
•    Partner with the SBU to provide valued added business analysis for M&A
•    Strong ability to take large amounts of complex data and communicate it simply and effectively
•    Collaborate in continuing to improve Teleflex’s financial processes and systems.
•    Attract, develop and retain finance talent 
•    Ensure Compliance in collaboration with internal and external auditors including SOX regulations and Federal/State Tax Issues.
•    Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex’s Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, and procedures.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance 
•    10 -15 years of progressive financial management experience
•    Demonstrated understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
•    Advanced skills in use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
•    SAP experience
•    Hyperion PCBS/Adaptive a plus
