Interventional Urology – NeoTract is dedicated to developing innovative, minimally invasive and clinically effective devices that address unmet needs in the field of urology. Indicated for the treatment of symptoms of an enlarged prostate up to 100cc in men 45 years or older. As with any medical procedure, individual results may vary. Most common side effects are temporary and include pain or burning with urination, blood in the urine, pelvic pain, urgent need to urinate and/or the inability to control the urge.1 Rare side effects, including bleeding and infection, may lead to a serious outcome and may require intervention. Position Summary

The Clinical Education Content Developer, Clinical Affairs, Interventional Urology is an integral member of the Clinical Affairs team.  Responsible for the strategic development and tactical execution of clinical and device related content and programs, related to Interventional Urology products, for global employees and HCPs, to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes for patients. Will act as a cross-functional liaison between internal departments and consultants.  This position requires content development, clinical education and/or Sales, and adult education experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform at high-levels independently, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. ** Position based remotely. Can be located in any US location close to a major airport.**

Principal Responsibilities

•    Trained through Trainer status on all product lines, as outlined in SOP00028 and retain proficiency to train other employees and HCPs and support IUBU product related procedures. 
•    Keep current with medical literature, clinical studies/guidelines, competitive landscape and internal education, marketing, and sales initiatives.
•    Manage departmental routing of content through ECO, Legal and Compliance review, following corporate and departmental guidelines, from development through release and archival.
•    Recommend, develop, improve, and manage clinical and product related educational content, activities, and programs, for employees and HCPs, to support global strategic needs ensuring clinical accuracy of key market messaging
•    Assist other Clinical Affairs team members during their development, editing and approval routing of educational content, including:
•    Creation and updates of global materials to meet employee and HCP needs
•    The development and update of tools to support efficient content creation and routing.
•    Create and drive tactical execution of new anatomical tools, virtual and simulated methods for both remote and hands-on educational materials 
•    Rollout planning of new educational programs and tools.
•    Partner with Clinical Affairs, Marketing, Sales and Sales Training Management to design and implement educational programs, commercial meetings and global symposia for both employees and HCPs, for US and other geographies.
•    May participate in the execution of employee and HCP training.
•    May participate in local, regional, and national symposiums and large meetings.
•    Support the management and execution of SOP00028, including but not limited to:
•    Updating SOP related documents and training materials, as needed
•    Assist Clinical Affairs, Sales and Sales Training Management in the development of employee training programs
•    Develop tools to evaluate employees using objective criteria to determine proficiency related to BPH disease process, patient screening and selection, the safe and effective use of the UroLift System and related NeoTract/Teleflex data, history and devices, competitive treatments, clinical acumen, and employee and HCP training support
•    Support related documentation, archival, and reporting activities, including the development, execution and management of an online documentation, archival and reporting portal.
•    Clinical Affairs project management related to the development and routing of developed materials through the ECO and Legal and Compliance reviews.
•    Management of consultants involved in content and tool creation.
•    Adhere to and ensure the adherence of Teleflex Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards
•    Contribute to the company culture of being collaborative, respectful, transparent, ethical, efficient, high-achieving, and fun!  
•    Partner with sales reps/ UCs (Urology Consultants) to support NeoTract product related cases and perform HCP training activities, as needed.  Including New Physician, New Product, Advanced Anatomy, Advanced Training/Troubleshooting, and Advanced Techniques, Market Acceptance Testing (MAT) and Limited Launch trainings.
•    Performs other duties as assigned. 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
      o    Extensive clinical education and/or content development experience will be considered, in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
•    Current license preferred- RN, RCIS, RT, NP, or PA.
•    Minimum of 5 years clinical content development, clinical and adult education experience.

•    Strong working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, and Outlook.

•    Ability to work independently, in a remote environment
•    Strong research, logic and reasoning ability

•    Understanding of HIPPA compliance
•    Ability and desire to successfully interact with all levels of management and healthcare professionals including medical office staff, physicians, policy analysts, medical directors
•    Ability to establish and maintain vendor credentials (via RepTrax, Vendormate, etc) to enter and work, as required, in hospitals, clinics and other medical facilities
