Position Summary

The Associate Manager, Customer Engagement is responsible for the strategic execution of specific customer engagement plans and activities for the Interventional Urology portfolio of products. The IUBU product portfolio includes the UroLift System (#1 minimally-invasive therapy for treating the symptoms of BPH) as well as the Barrigel System (rectal spacer that has been proven to significantly reduce prostate radiation side effects). The Associate Manager will be responsible for leading the execution of several different customer engagement strategies through collaborating with the entire marketing team, select cross-functional partners, and key customers to increase the awareness of the IUBU product portfolio and better inform our short- and long-term strategic vision. This is a remotely based position.

Principal Responsibilities

•    The Associate Manager is responsible for creating a strategic, sustainable, KOL engagement strategy that generates insights that can be utilized by our broader marketing team.
•    Partners with our marketing team to align on customer engagement needs on a quarterly basis and identifies the goals for the engagement, key participants, and aligns on key deliverables.
•    Works collaboratively with cross-functional partners (Clinical and Medical Education) to ensure we engage with customers in a compliant manner and creates a process that improves our marketing teams’ efficiency and speed to market.
•    Takes the lead on customer engagement and coordination of resources at external societal meetings and internal meetings where KOLs engagement is needed.
•    Own the administrative process of handling KOL engagement strategy on behalf of the marketing team ensuring that the cross-functional partners have what they need to be successful.
•    Manage the marketing consulting budget as it pertains to physician honorariums, logistics, etc. to ensure communication is occurring in a timely manner.
•    Monitor, own, and communicate a consistent competitive intelligence dashboard that informs key stakeholders (marketing team, leadership, and external customers where appropriate).
•    Manage the market research responsibilities on behalf of the marketing team including vendor selection, cross-functional approvals of market request forms, and completion the summary post-completion.
•    Where appropriate, lead the voice of the customer activities with physicians on behalf of the marketing team in cooperation with our cross-functional partners. 
•    Responsible for budget ownership and driving the relationship of the vendors as it pertains to competitive intelligence tools and platforms.
•    Develop cutting-edge lead retrieval solutions for societal meetings and communicate leads promptly to the sales force through salesforce integration.
•    Collaborate with marketing team to determine annual KOL engagement plans
•    Partner with cross-functional teams to align on annual KOL needs assessments. 
•    Represent the company by visiting accounts to solicit feedback on company products and services.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree and at least 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing, business development, or a related field.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Proven ability to influence without authority and drive consensus in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
•    Experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans.
•    Familiarity with market research methodologies and data analysis.
•    Ability to partner cross-functionally successfully with a desire for our team to WIN!

 

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between ($70,000-75,000)  however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
 
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
