Interventional Urology – NeoTract is dedicated to developing innovative, minimally invasive and clinically effective devices that address unmet needs in the field of urology. Indicated for the treatment of symptoms of an enlarged prostate up to 100cc in men 45 years or older. As with any medical procedure, individual results may vary. Most common side effects are temporary and include pain or burning with urination, blood in the urine, pelvic pain, urgent need to urinate and/or the inability to control the urge.1 Rare side effects, including bleeding and infection, may lead to a serious outcome and may require intervention. Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Marketing Communications is a leader in the Commercial Sales and Marketing group and the voice of the UroLift Brand internally. This role leads the Marketing Communications Team responsible for physician-targeted brand positioning, messaging, campaign development and execution, public relations, meetings and conventions, and other promotional/educational content development. Key responsibilities include establishing communications and operational objectives in collaboration with Field Sales and other functions, and work plans to drive the global NeoTract UroLift Brand, launch new products, and execute direct marketing programs and tactics to drive product sales.  

Principal Responsibilities

•    Help drive Interventional Urology product sales through the planning and execution of physician-facing marketing content.  
•    Ensures the successful launch of new products and programs in collaboration with the product management team and other functions.  
•    Plays a significant role in serving as "voice of customer" in the development of programs to be implemented by the Interventional Urology sales force. 
•    Interface with the sales force and surgeons and attend key physician events with the expectation of providing support for these programs.
•    Leads a team with direct reports who lead various aspects of the work.  Coach team members on cross-functional projects in order to meet business objectives.
•    Provides leadership in utilizing business analytics to support decision making, analyzing sales trends and developing marketing strategies that will improve sales performance.  
•    Identifies new strategies to engage health care professionals in increasing awareness and education about BPH and the UroLift brand.  
•    Lead and serve as a team member on cross-functional teams (clinical, sales, marketing, and training) in order to meet business objectives, 
•    Partner with sales management and the field sales organization, other groups within Marketing (e.g. Digital Marketing Team) to develop and implement an annual Plan of Action with aligned, effective targeting and segmentation.  
•    Develop strong working relationships by effectively collaborating with, rapidly responding to the field’s needs and incorporating input from the sales organization and other stakeholders into programs and decisions.

•    Responsible for planning and execution of marketing events such as Global and National trade shows. Work with the Clinical Medical Affairs and Field Sales teams and other functions to create a comprehensive plan for all company trade shows that includes level of activity, budgets, support materials, logistical implementation, booth staffing, messaging, symposia, presentations, case studies and marketing tactics/implementation.  
•    Collect, track, organize and analyze sales leads generated by trade shows and disseminate this information to the sales and marketing team.  
•    Responsible for all activities related to product and company branding. Partner with the Clinical/Regulatory group to ensure marketing claims are valuable, differentiating, realistic and attainable; and collaborate on the development and review of sales tools (including clinical collateral, publication strategy and drafting, competitive analysis, white papers, and basic technical sheets) in support of field sales and clinical group targeting new and existing platforms.
•    Effectively manage an outside Public Relations firm through strategy, annual plan development and execution of programs/campaigns targeting physicians and patients.  Develop and implement a patient advocacy plan with support from the agency.
•    Effectively manage advertising Agency and other vendor partners, and develop/coach team members on the same to build individual and organizational capabilities.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    BA/BS degree required, MBA highly preferred.
•    Global Urology experience preferred
•    Minimum of 8 years experience in product marketing, direct marketing, marketing program management, or combination with sales
•    Experience in medical device marketing is required.
