Indicated for the treatment of symptoms of an enlarged prostate up to 100cc in men 45 years or older. As with any medical procedure, individual results may vary. Most common side effects are temporary and include pain or burning with urination, blood in the urine, pelvic pain, urgent need to urinate and/or the inability to control the urge.1 Rare side effects, including bleeding and infection, may lead to a serious outcome and may require intervention. Position Summary

The Senior Sales Operations Analyst is an integral member of the Sales Operations team that provides/assists with analysis and presentation of key business drivers, financial results, and sales reporting. The position also assists in the analysis and administration of the sales commission plans. This position builds, analyzes, and reports on complex data models around sales analytics, including deployment, commissions, and other commercial reporting, as well as presents key findings to the commercial leadership team.

This position interacts with various sales leaders, reps, finance, and other commercial leadership roles. 

This position requires proficiency and ownership of unstructured data, experience using BI platforms, strong business acumen, and the comfort and ability to present data.
 

Principal Responsibilities

•    Partner with field sales managers on standard and ad hoc reporting
•    Prepare and present team sales analyses (both written and oral) to senior management that efficiently distill data and demonstrate major business trends and opportunities, explaining modeling results to upper management
•    Prepare and assist with preparation of monthly commercial reporting packages
•    Generate business insight from performance and forecast metrics and communicate sales results and key trends to leadership
•    Support the Sales team to identify sales fluctuations vs. forecast vs. prior periods 
•    Lead the calculation and payment of sales force variable compensation and provide field support for compensation related inquiries, including analysis and reporting of commissions, guarantees, over quotas, MBOs, and other payments to the Sales team and management
•    Partner with Finance to prepare variable compensation payout summaries for review, monthly accruals, and final approval
•    Provide strategic influential business partnering to both internal teams and sales management teams
•    Leverage existing analytical models and develop new methods to deliver standard and ad hoc reporting to support business reviews, customer engagements, and quarterly planning
•    Create, join, and manage complex data sets into a comprehensive data visualization platform (e.g., BI tools, Excel, etc.) that drive root cause analysis of problems
•    Gain access to, manipulate, and analyze big data from multiple sources
•    Identify process improvement opportunities and develop solutions while applying appropriate methodology, measurements, tools, and quantitative techniques in projects
•    Perform other tasks and assignments as derived from the Sr. Manager of Sales Operations

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor's Degree in a related role (Finance, Economics, Business, etc), MBA a plus
•    At least 3 to 5 years of sales and/or financial analysis or related experience
•    Medical device industry experience is preferred
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Experience supporting a field-based sales force is a plus
•    Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills
•    Strong business acumen and experience interacting with various level of management
•    Strong ability to influence and be an effective business partner
•    Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
•    Proficiency in, or eagerness to learn and expand, Tableau and other BI applications
•    Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
•    Ability to think independently and challenge existing norms for the benefits of the sales teams and the business
•    Experience with process improvement
