Interventional Urology – NeoTract is dedicated to developing innovative, minimally invasive and clinically effective devices that address unmet needs in the field of urology. Indicated for the treatment of symptoms of an enlarged prostate up to 100cc in men 45 years or older. As with any medical procedure, individual results may vary. Most common side effects are temporary and include pain or burning with urination, blood in the urine, pelvic pain, urgent need to urinate and/or the inability to control the urge.1 Rare side effects, including bleeding and infection, may lead to a serious outcome and may require intervention. Position Summary

As an integral member of the Medical Affairs team, the Medical Affairs Program Manager acts as a bridge between Teleflex and practicing Urologists to manage programs that enhance our organization’s patient-centered, clinical quality and provider-need focus to enhance patient outcomes and provider experience. 

This key role requires a clear understanding of our product and the clinical practices needed to obtain desirable Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia clinical outcomes.  This manager must have the ability to coordinate among multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels, strong attention to detail and ability to develop and apply program metrics, a collaborative teamwork approach and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance around interactions with medical professionals.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Develop strategy for, manage and iterate programs related to improvement of patient outcomes with a strong focus on our Centers of Excellence program. 
•    Research, vet, organize and manage resources and 3rd party vendors to support and improve program value.
•    Translate prior experience into scalable, compliant and valuable program elements to support provider participation and improvement of patient outcomes.
•    Communicate with program stakeholders internally to maintain and improve visibility and compliance of programs 
•    Develop and execute strategy for communications related to the program through the company and to practicing clinicians in a thoughtful and appropriate way.
•    Support the development of other medical affairs initiatives as it relates to residency programs, professional education, clinical operations and scientific services
•    Adhere to state, federal, Advamed, Eucamed, company, and industry organization policies with respect to physician interactions and related activities.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent work experience in a healthcare related field (E.g.: Med device, Biotechnology, Healthcare Quality Improvement, Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy); or equivalent medical device or pharmaceutical industry..
•    At least five years of project or program management experience
•    Familiarity with and experience with development of healthcare clinical care pathways and healthcare quality improvement methods.
•    Experience with scientific and research methodology, medical device regulations and guidelines
•    Experience working within a highly regulated industry environment, responsible for performing all duties in compliance with FDA’s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, the Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and all other international regulatory requirements with which NeoTract complies.

•    Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time in the US and internationally as needed.
•    Ability to manage travel and expenses per approved budget.
