Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. Position Summary

The Manager, Finance provides analysis, preparation, and presentation of key business drivers and financial results. As an integral member of the Finance team, this position partners cross-functionally with departments to develop and drive advanced business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range contingency planning management. This position requires a self-starting, high-performing, and highly analytical financial professional to support our team and continuously deliver best-in-class services in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Provide financial analysis to cross-functional departments in the areas of operational efficiencies, forecasting, and trend projections 
•    Prepare and assist in preparation of monthly financial projections, including consolidation, uploads to PBCS, profit & loss (P&L) statements, and various monthly reports and presentations.
•    Analyze financial results and key trends, year over year bridges, assess current and future business risks, and communicate results to leadership
•    Prepare, track, and report monthly actuals and variance analysis, and provide timely reporting and feedback to business leaders.
•    Perform cost benefit justifications on major investments in new product development, programs, and/or capital expenditures.

•    Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional business partners to develop annual financial plans, 5 year strategic plans and ongoing forecasts for departmental expenses and headcounts.
•    Manage the Adaptive insights budgeting system by playing an administrative role in addition to using the system for budgeting and forecasting
•    Lead and motivate a high-performing team by communicating job expectations, developing action plans, monitoring and appraising work performance, coaching and counseling team members.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
•    At least 5 years of related financial planning and analysis experience, prior Accounting experience is a plus.
•    Past experience supervising or mentoring a team
•    Experience with process improvement.
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to act as a business partner and effectively communicate with senior management
•    Outstanding track record of success 
•    Good understanding of manufacturing, costs of goods sold is desirable 
•    Self-motivated with the ability to perform at high-levels in a fast-growing, start-up environment
•    Ability to be highly analytical and think creatively and quickly with minimal direction and information
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
•    Strong attention to detail and proven track record of meeting deadlines.
•    Mastery of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
•    Knowledge of Access, VBA, and SQL is a plus
•    Familiarity with Adaptive/SAP/PBCS is a plus
