Indicated for the treatment of symptoms of an enlarged prostate up to 100cc in men 45 years or older. As with any medical procedure, individual results may vary. Most common side effects are temporary and include pain or burning with urination, blood in the urine, pelvic pain, urgent need to urinate and/or the inability to control the urge.1 Rare side effects, including bleeding and infection, may lead to a serious outcome and may require intervention. Position Summary

The Building Engineer is responsible for managing facility space, facility planning, and leading facility-related projects for manufacturing, lab, office, and distribution areas. As an integral member of the Facilities team, this position partners with cross-function teams to define technical user requirements, design engineering and equipment layouts, and manage project schedules and budgets. This position requires experience maintaining facility systems and the ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, organize, and lead facility projects to completion.
•    Generate and update maintenance plans, task lists, and related facility drawings to ensure proper maintenance of facility systems.
•    Troubleshoot technical systems, including mechanical, electrical power, and the BMS system.
•    Trains and mentors lower level staff
•    Prepare engineering drawings using CAD software and project specifications information (e.g., materials, equipment, estimated costs, schedules, etc.).
•    Develop budgets and estimate costs for repair and minor construction projects, manufacturing equipment installations, furniture system installations, and relocations.
•    Manage contractors by negotiating, appointing, monitoring performance, and approving payments.
•    Provide facility updates to management.
•    Perform other duties as requested.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
•    At least 3 years of relevant experience in building maintenance or project experience. 
•    Experience using CAD preferred
•    Experience interacting with regulatory agencies.
•    Medical device or other FDA regulated industry experience preferred.
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Strong project and program management skills and proven ability to develop and lead cross-functional teams to achieve results.
•    Able to manage multiple projects and daily responsibilities successfully.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to a diverse worker population.
•    Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with FDA’s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, the Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and all other international regulatory requirements with which NeoTract complies.
