Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. Position Summary

The Clinical Education Manage will be responsible for assisting in all phases of customer interaction, to include the field support for the implementation and ongoing use of OnControl throughout the hospital. Support the sales process with customer training and monitoring implementation of sales & professional development programs and activities within the regional territory as well as participate in scientific meetings and medical conferences. 


Principal Responsibilities

•    Provide clinical and sales support to promote and sell Teleflex Interventional products. 
•    Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and sales representatives in evaluating business conditions and sales trends. 
•    Develop and implement a proactive plan that involves clinical education/support with the Regional Sales Manager and team members, to maintain market share and increase the quality of service to customers. 
•    Keep current with medical literature, clinical initiatives/guidelines, competitive landscape, and industry trends and communicate with the appropriate sales and corporate departments 
•    Participate in educational, scientific, and promotional activities at all identified local, regional, and national exhibitions (this may also include training and presentations) 
•    Contribute to the training of new field personnel and company personnel on interventional products and related initiatives 
•    Maintain professional and clinical continuing education, licensure, and credentials.  
•    Maintain and develop expertise on Teleflex's Interventional products, with particular emphasis on Teleflex interventional products, specifically the OnControl product line. 
•    Assist marketing and engineers on projects to advance the development of OnControl 
•    Conduct product demonstrations to physicians and other medical personnel in the Interventional and oncology spaces. 
•    Work with sales representatives to implement sales plans to achieve sales goals and objectives. 
•    Facilitate resolutions to customer questions or complaints.  
•    Build robust relationships with medical staff. 
•    Complete necessary reports and administrative tasks as needed (i.e. expense reports, competitive updates, sales 
•    Provide ongoing field intelligence on competitive products, market activity, effective clinical support techniques, as well as input on customer preferences and product features. 
•    Manage time and asset costs effectively. 
•    Regional travel as necessary to support the needs of the business. (minimum of 50%) 
•    Comprehensive  product knowledge with the ability to utilize sales techniques in a clinical setting. 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree preferred.   
•    RN, NP or PA and a minimum of 5 years of Interventional Radiology or Oncology  experience.  
•    Self-directed, able to work independently and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently & function in a fast paced, high growth environment.  
•    Previous industry experience strongly preferred. 
•    Strong problem solving/analytical skills and effective presentation skills. 
•    Excellent organizational skills, strong communicative, problem solving, and interpersonal skills are required. 
•    Proficiency with computer technology and Microsoft Office tools, including Iphone and Ipad platforms. 
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

    • •    Experience with bone marrow aspiration and biopsy and/or Interventional Radiology procedures strongly preferred. 
      •    Ability to deliver complex and technical subject matter to clinicians in a hospital or clinical setting. 
      •    Ability to handle difficult conversations/situations.  
      •    Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment 
      •    Possess excellent communication, customer service, and presentation skills. 
      •    Stand, walk, or sit in meetings or with customers for 6 -- 10 hours per day, up to five (5) days per week. 
      •    Interact with others through effective, verbal and written communication.  
      •    Possess a valid driver’s license and operate a motor vehicle with satisfactory driving record. 
      •    Carry detail bag weighing up to 20 lbs. 
      •    Lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. 
      •    Strong interpersonal skills while discussing products and procedures with customers. 
      •    Meet all vendor credentialing requirements. 
      TRAVEL REQUIRED: 65 - 75%
