Position Summary

The Field Training Manager delivers UroLift System training to surgeons, OR staff, and the NeoTract Sales team to achieve successful clinical outcomes for patients. As an integral member of the Sales Training team, this position participates in the continual improvement of training programs through contributions to training materials for both internal and external customers. This position requires a thorough knowledge of the urology field and the ability to launch disruptive technologies in the urology space. 

Candidates can be based anywhere within the Northeast region. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Servant leaders that proactively support training, developing and hiring talent.
  • Initiators and stewards of transformation of people, process and systems.
  • Partner with leadership to cover open territories
  • Partner with the sales team and customers to achieve successful clinical outcomes through patient selection, product training, and case support.
  • Partner with team members to oversee the development and management of the Field Sales Trainer role, programs, and materials.
  • Conduct UroLift System training for surgeons and OR staff.
  • Train Sales team members to conduct UroLift System training and case support.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate current market conditions and develop accounts to adopt the UroLift System.
  • Evaluate sales team members using objective criteria to determine proficiency in the UroLift System and case support.
  • Partner with the Area Sales Directors, Regional Business Managers, and Manager of Sales training to identify and prioritize specific territory needs.
  • Partner with Regional Business Manager to ensure all required sales reporting forms are completed and submitted on time when applicable.
  • Manage training center logistics, trainees, calendar, and content for training centers in the region.

  • Participate in planning and implementation of training activities at sales meetings.
  • Participate in evaluation, development, and refinement of training materials and programs in a creative, dependable, and flexible manner to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Effectively communicate UroLift’s value proposition to customers
  • Partner with various departments to create training plans for the Sales team.
  • Proactively support organizational goals, objectives, policies, procedures, good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations while ensuring strict compliance with NeoTract’s Customer Relationship and the Sunshine Act policies.
  • Maintain a professional and credible image with key physicians, consultants, suppliers, and teammates.
  • Establish and maintain credentials (via RepTrax, Vendormate, etc.) to enter and work in hospitals and other medical facilities as required by facility requirements.
  • Responsibilities may occasionally extend outside specified region including international locations.
  • Manage travel and expenses per approved budget.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree preferably in biological, clinical, health sciences, or engineering; or equivalent practical experience.
•    At least 5 years of professional training or OR-based sales experience.
•    Record of exceeding quota selling disruptive technologies.
•    Demonstrated clinical mastery related to surgical devices, urology experience preferred
•    Professional work ethic, strong organizational skills, and ability to operate independently
•    Strong interpersonal skills, experience training surgeons in OR setting
•    Ability to travel 80% of the time.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Prezzi; Video editing; Articulate; and Salesforce experience preferred.
