Position Summary

This person is primarily responsible for providing written process support for the North American Distribution Center (NADC).  
•    Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to draft and modify quality systems documents to be compliant with current change control practices. 
•    Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to track data, identify improvement projects and implementation to improve Key Performance Indicators. 
•    Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
•    Schedule and participate in activities to support and maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and Quality Management System requirements. 
 

Principal Responsibilities

•    Works within an operations team to identify and implement effective controls to support the development, qualification, and distribution of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.
•    Maintains schedules for projects; identifies problems and recommends solutions to all project activities.
•    Acts as an effective leader or team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices.
•    Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
•    Assure in the development and execution of streamlined business systems which effectively identify and resolve quality issues.
•    Supports in the development and maintenance of Teleflex NADC processes and procedures.
•    Perform other related duties as assigned.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
•    High school diploma or equivalent required.
•    Ability to speak and write English and Spanish is required.
•    Previous experience generating written material and/or procedural materials.
•    1+ years' experience within medical device / FDA regulated industry preferred.
•    Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred. 
•    Relevant Experience working within Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or other FDA-regulated Industry is an advantage.
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both English and Spanish)
•    Detail oriented
•    Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment under pressure and maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude
•    Experience with Microsoft Office suite and MS Teams
•    Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
•    Statistical analysis techniques with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
•    May, occasionally, be required to slide work hours to work with off-shifts to ensure processes are correct.
