Position Summary

An accomplished individual with extensive experience in Quality Management, Systems Design, Project Management and Team Leadership gained in the Pharma / Medical Devices sector. A dynamic team leader and player with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. Principal Responsibilities

•    Leadership and Management of a QA Group with responsibilities for Quality System Management DC (Distribution Centre) Quality Management and quality inspection laboratory
•    Establish, Implement, and maintain Strategic International KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) that measure and drive continuous improvement to the QMS
•    Prepares and submits required corporate reports relative to quality reporting, and general regulatory compliance.
•    Act as the Quality Management Representative for the NADC
•    Ensure quality requirements are established, implemented, and maintained.
•    Report on the performance of the Quality System and KPI’s to senior management.
•    Ensure the promotion of awareness of regulatory and customer requirements throughout the organization
•    Drive ProActive Quality improvements in partnership with related business functions
•    Manage strategic programs as part of the Global QA Logistics & Distribution organization.
•    Support the Global QARA, Operations teams and Business Unit leadership in aspects of business that impact the various teams, as applicable. 
•    Develops road maps/methodologies required to move from current state to future state including changes and implications to existing architecture and systems.
•    Proven track record in relation to FDA, ISO and relevant regulatory and notified body audits, 
•    QMS Management representative 
•    Maintains the internal audit system to ensure compliance with ISO13486, FDA and other required regulatory requirements
•    Coordinates and facilitates customer, corporate compliance, and regulatory/registration audit visits.
•    Partner with Distributor network in the educating on relevant company policies, relating to QMS elements and FDA regulations
•    Work with International Supply Chain Management Team in the Americas and Globally, where relevant, to help drive quality and business efficiencies and processes
•    Partner with other business units and departments within the company to help drive business improvements, 
•    Provides support to the evaluation and quoting of new business opportunities via project and specification review, project and costing analysis and associated negotiations with new and existing customers.
•    Leadership and management of the Quality inspection laboratory.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in a technical, engineering, medical or science discipline.
•    ASQ certification preferred (certified quality auditor, certified quality engineer, and/or certified quality manager) 
•    Florida Certified Designated Representative (CDR) preferred.
•    10+ years in the medical device industry with QA supply chain experience with a demonstrated track record in driving results
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Extensive compliance knowledge of the following standards and regulations, ISO13485, Applicable FDA regulations with proven audit experience.
•    Excellent IT skills & knowledge – SAP, MS applications, systems knowledge, 
•    Strong project management skills and experience in leading virtual teams  
•    Process focused and results driven  
•    Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills across all organization levels
