Interventional Urology – NeoTract is dedicated to developing innovative, minimally invasive and clinically effective devices that address unmet needs in the field of urology. Indicated for the treatment of symptoms of an enlarged prostate up to 100cc in men 45 years or older. As with any medical procedure, individual results may vary. Most common side effects are temporary and include pain or burning with urination, blood in the urine, pelvic pain, urgent need to urinate and/or the inability to control the urge.1 Rare side effects, including bleeding and infection, may lead to a serious outcome and may require intervention. Position Summary


The Regional Account Specialist (RAS) is responsible for providing incremental revenue growth within assigned accounts by driving depth through total account calls to ensure best practices for integrating Urolift into practices and maintaining the foundation of a Urology Consultant’s (UC) developed business. As an integral member of the US Sales team, this position focuses on sales activities, including targeted sales calls, and case coverage.  A strong candidate for this position may also have knowledge of the urology field, experience supporting disruptive technologies, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Co-lead or support the Integrate, Launch and Accelerate, phases of Tika GPS/ Sales Process.
•    Provide UroLift Integration Pathway education and associated branding to medical offices.
•    Grow assigned high-volume accounts identify new opportunities therein.
•    Conduct Primary Care Physician (PCP) education to support UroLift as the standard of care.
•    Conduct consultative sales calls to targeted urology physician customers and ancillary staff (e.g., RNs, OR Directors, urology offices, etc.).
•    Provide intentional case coverage for high volume users of Urolift.
•    Complete RAS deep dive document for each account.
•    Establish and execute territory business plans in a three-month sales cycle/quota-based system with the guidance of the Regional Business Manager (RBM).
•    Liaison with Clinical and Medical Affairs to provide appropriate input for regional enrollment in Peer-2-Peer programs
•    Support daily sales objectives focused on territory growth, including account maintenance, new account targeting, and launch planning/execution.
•    Present account details and other requested information to Urology Consultants and the Regional Business Manager weekly.
•    Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures, the Quality System, and other regulatory requirements.
•    Maintain working knowledge of the reimbursement environment.
•    Present product knowledge to the US Sales team by communicating best practices and field experiences in weekly emails.
•    Liaise with physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
•    Support patient awareness activities in partnership with the Market Development Team.
•    Establish and maintain credentials (via RepTrax, Vendormate, etc) to enter and work in hospitals and other medical facilities as required by facility requirements.
•    Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline (preferred); or equivalent experience.
•    At least 5 years of experience in business-to-business sales, 2 years medical sales experience is highly preferred.
•    Knowledge of the urology field and established relationships with local urologists highly desired.
•    Operating room or therapeutic delivery experience strongly preferred.

  • Excellent negotiating skills with the ability to adapt to changing work priorities and maintain healthy working relationships. 
  • Strong analytical capabilities to refine business plans and sales techniques continuously with the goal of achieving maximum performance. 
  • Working knowledge of CRM applications, including data entry, reporting, data filtering and analysis. 
  • Proficient in PC-based office applications, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time. 
  • Valid driver’s license issued by residing state and good driving record.

  • Valid driver’s license issued by the state in which the individual resides; good driving record.  
  • Ability to travel, up to 80%.  Overnight travel is required.
