Position Summary
The Training & Education Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the management and logistical support of in-house new-hire training including but not limited to planning, scheduling, assignment of pre-work, LMS support, testing, development of workbooks, playbooks, summary guides, and printing assistance. In addition, this individual will assist in the coordination and management of field sales trainers as it pertains to commercial training efforts and will provide general administrative support to the broader organization as needed. This individual should be a self-starter with strong change agility, attention to detail, and execution in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization. The daily routine will include interaction with all facets of the Anesthesia business, working closely with marketing, marcom, sales teams, and other internal stakeholders.
Principal Responsibilities
• Maintain calendars and coordinate meetings, webinars, and conference calls for training team
• Prepare agendas, capture, and publish minutes, and prioritize schedules as necessary. Orders meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and refreshments, as appropriate. Sets up meetings and collects presentations in advance
• Develop and process presentations, letters, documents, spreadsheets, charts, and reports using Microsoft Office software
• Arrange business travel, including necessary reservations for training team
• Prepare, process, and complete expense reports for assigned staff through the expense reporting system
• Prepare invoices, check requests and submit purchase requisitions
• Maintain existing and create new files, contact lists, itineraries, and mailings as needed
• Manage projects, monitor deadlines and track progress toward task completion, communicating with management as appropriate
• Act as a point of contact for the field sales team; provide onboarding and offboarding support, information and resources, and develop tools that enable the team and broader organization to function effectively
• Training & Education activities including but not limited to support of new hire and legacy rep training, including responsibility for assessments, pre- and post-work tracking, training communications, logistics, materials support, and post-training surveys
• Training & Education activities including but not limited to support of new hire and legacy rep training, including responsibility for assessment, pre and post-work tracking and logistics, sales force communications, training logistics, and post surveys
• Sales enablement tool management, for example, BioDigital, responsibilities include content management and deployment, tracking and analytics, communications, and various other project management
• Complete other duties as assigned
Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and techniques of adult education and accelerated learning concepts for curriculum and training design preferred.
• Prior experience as a teacher, educator, coordinator, or in a related support role working with a training team; LMS (Learning Management System) knowledge and management preferred.
• Self-directed, able to work independently, and able to handle multiple projects concurrently while functioning in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
• Advanced ability with computer technology and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including iPhone and iPad platforms.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• Must display a customer-focused, collaborative approach with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities with attention to detail and minimal oversight required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform data extraction and manipulation and generate reports; experience supporting training records, tracking, or reporting preferred.
