Position Summary

As part of the Global Information Technology division of Teleflex, the Senior Manager of Finance Applications is responsible for providing direction, support and maintenance for the Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) of the TFX ERP systems. This position will involve direct management of analysts assigned to the functional Global SAP FICO Services team.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Manage the development/configuration and maintenance of application systems. 
•    Support the initiation process for new project requests including analysis of possible solutions, scope definition, resource, cost and schedule planning
•    Manage global template for applications to ensure that system remains stable and supportable.
•    Liaise with business owners to ensure effective communication and translation of business needs into technical requirements. 
•    Manage the global template for applications to ensure that system remains stable and supportable.
•    Hold regular IT Support meetings with IT and business SMEs in different global regions 
•    Apply technical knowledge to all phases of systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application to the current and future business environment. 
•    Conduct functional and/or technical reviews and walks-through of IT design documentation with the development and the design team members.
•    Act as expert support on business processes in respective area of responsibility. 
•    Ensure the release of system changes according to the Teleflex validation procedures.
•    Deliver consistently high-quality service and solutions that meet business requirements and ensure goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.
•    Track, monitor, review, and report project progress where appropriate (e.g. subsets of projects).
•    Participate in projects and rollouts of the application (either on full-time or part-time basis)
•    Share ideas, information, knowledge, and data proactively to accomplish collaboration for the success of the team, project, or task.
•    Attract, retain and develop high-performing IT professionals. Provide formal evaluations, feedback and development opportunities to employees. 
•    Ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines are adhered to by team members.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Functional Area. Demonstrated super-user experience with SAP may be considered in lieu of a degree. 
•    Minimum of 2 years people management experience
•    Minimum of 4 years SAP configuration or super-user experience. 
•    Participation in one or more SAP implementations. Experience in other large-scale projects or implementations may be considered in lieu of an SAP Project.
•    Experience in an FDA-regulated environment preferred.

•    Strong people management skills.
•    Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
•    Proven ability to think strategically and to be creative in task completion
•    Demonstrated ability to make recommendations and take actions based on understanding and judgment of all factors involved and based on independent interpretation and application of various disciplines involved
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure and to manage multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities while dealing with changing priorities
•    Ability to inspire confidence among senior leaders and to provide valued communication guidance and coaching to others.
•    Proven facilitation skills across multiple business disciplines, organization levels and geographies. 
•    Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. 
•    Ability to work in a virtual environment
•    Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%.
