Position Summary

This Senior IT Leader will lead the delivery and support of Commercial Applications, managing a global team to provide effective and reliable technology solutions. The incumbent will assist with the overall technology direction for commercial applications, working closely with business and IT teams to analyze business priorities and needs, and map out appropriate technology solutions for addressing both short-term and long-term strategic initiatives.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Provide expertise in the analysis, design, implementation and support of Commercial Applications including ERP, CRM, and related systems.
•    Deliver consistently high-quality service and solutions that meet business requirements and ensure goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.
•    Act as expert support on Commercial business processes.
•    Develop and manage the performance of a global team with the objective of building a world-class IT organization through identifying, coaching/mentoring, retaining and attracting top IT talent.
•    Manage competing team priorities.
•    Ensure all systems in scope adhere to all policies and procedures
•    Provide timely visibility into key decisions, status and issues associated with work products and services and overall team performance.
•    Liaise with business owners to ensure effective communications and translation of technical requirements into business solutions. 
•    Proactively monitor service delivery performance.
•    Support the initiation process for new project requests including analysis of possible solutions, scope definition, resource, cost and schedule planning
•    Manage relationships with relevant external consultants, network and equipment suppliers. 
•    Ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines are adhered to by team members.
•    Conduct functional and/or technical reviews and walks-through of IT design documentation with the development and the design team members.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
•    10+ years’ experience in Commercial Applications or business transformation leadership roles. 
•    SAP implementation experience strongly preferred
•    Experience in an FDA-regulated environment preferred.
