Position Summary

This role is responsible for the full life cycle implementation (technical and functional) and support of the Finance & Controlling modules in ECC 6.0 systems.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Develop and deliver requirements and project scope documents, business process design, and configuration.
•    Liaise with business owners to ensure effective communication and translation of business needs into technical requirements. 
•    Apply technical knowledge to all phases of systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application to the current and future business environment. 
•    Conduct functional and/or technical reviews and walks-through of IT design documentation with the development and the design team members.
•    Act as expert support on business processes in the respective area of responsibility. 
•    Ensure the release of system changes according to the Teleflex validation procedures.
•    Deliver consistently high-quality service and solutions that meet business requirements and ensure goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.
•    Hands-on configuration of core SAP Modules - General Ledger (Classic / New), Accounts Payable, Bank reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, Profitability Analysis, Cost center accounting, Fixed assets
•    Support business processes as they relate to FICO modules. 
•    Develop business process procedures. 
•    Manage global template for applications to ensure that system remains stable and supportable.
•    Support end users to ensure proper system usage and understanding.
•    Work closely with other IT personnel and vendors to ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, or a related field. 
•    6+ years’ experience configuring in Finance & Controlling in either ECC5 or ECC6 with at least 2 full life cycle implementations. 
•    Experience working in a support organization and delivering functional/technical specifications for enhancements & custom developments 
•    European or USGAAP tax and legal reporting requirements experience
•    SAP certification a plus.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    In-depth knowledge of FICO modules – GL, AP, AR, Assets, Banking, COPA
•    Design, Prototype, and configure SAP to meet customer requirements.
•    Experience in supporting non-SAP finance application integrations to SAP
•    Experience in Brazil's legal/tax requirements is a plus
•    Demonstrated ability in implementing change. 
•    Strong problem-solving skills for developing creative solutions and meeting project objectives are required.
•    Cross-functional SAP knowledge in MM / SD an advantage.
•    Skills that enable collaboration and communication. 
•    Excellent analytical ability.
•    Ability to prioritize tasks and contribute to several projects and customers simultaneously.
•    Strong Logistics & SD integration knowledge.
•    Knowledge of IDOC set up AP Inter-company invoice processing
•    Knowledge of Cross Company Sales & Toller Principal Models is an advantage
•    Approachable and enthusiastic.
•    Flexible and adaptable.
•    Able to work on own initiative and as a team player.
•    Good organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity
•    Good judgment and problem-solving ability & is capable of understanding the impact of decision-making on both Teleflex Medical and their customers.
