Position Summary

The Americas Commercial Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Americas Headquarters (HQ) department. In this role, you will provide financial and analytical guidance in support of strategic and tactical level goals. The position will work cross-functionally with key Americas HQ stakeholders and leadership while providing financial analysis and decision-making support. Success in this role requires analytical and communication skills as well as a skillful approach to collaboration and business partnering.

Responsibilities include financial planning and analysis (FP&A) support for Americas, department OpEx budgeting, corporate forecast cycles, monthly and quarterly close activities, financial reviews, providing business insights, and ad-hoc analysis. 

This position will be based in Morrisville, NC

Principal Responsibilities

•    FP&A support of the Americas monthly and quarterly reporting packages, forecasting cycles, annual budget planning, and strategic planning. Consolidated annual Americas revenue is ~$1.7B.
•    Maintain orders and sales reporting requirements for the Americas region by tracking results against forecast and budgeted plan while accounting for adjustments impacting results. 
•    Prepare and analyze monthly Americas HQ department OpEx level rollups, cost center expense analysis, and communication of variances.
•    Coordinate with the Corporate FP&A team on Americas deliverables including presentation decks, consolidated supplementals, due dates, and system adjustments to balance top-level offsets.
•    Supports monthly and quarterly close process as it pertains to OpEx management.
•    Collaborate with other Teleflex finance departments to achieve objectives. 
•    Develop financial review presentations for leadership, providing data-oriented insights.
•    Respond to special projects as they arise. These could include globally coordinated projects, commercial finance initiatives, ad-hoc modeling, etc. 
•    Forecast tracking of the manufacturing service agreement for Respiratory products sold to Medline, Inc. in the deal announced in 2021.
•    Ensure appropriate internal controls are maintained and financial statements follow corporate accounting policies and standards. Adhere to Teleflex Code of Ethics and company procedures.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or Finance. MBA is a plus.
•    Minimum of three years of Finance experience.
•    Experience with SAP/ BW, Oracle EPM Planning and Budgeting, and Hyperion FM a plus.

•    Demonstrated aptitude working with large volumes of data and analyzing trends. 
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
•    Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization.
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, modeling).
