SAP IT OTC Manager

Position Summary

Teleflex is recruiting for an SAP OTC Manager, which would be located in Morrisville, NC US. The SAP IT OTC Manager would be responsible for providing management & technical leadership for the SAP OTC team supporting ECC, CRM & related systems; and ensuring that products and solutions are developed and supported in accordance with the company’s business plans & objectives. The incumbent will manage a global team of functional SAP resources and work closely with business and IT teams to analyze business priorities and needs.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Manage the Global Order to Cash SAP team of up to 5-7 team members, focused on Pre and Post sales processes, including Pricing, Contracts, Vistex, Returns, Service Mgmt, and CRM
•    Provide expertise in the analysis, design, implementation, and support of OTC Applications and processes
•    Develop and manage the performance of a global team with the objective of building a world-class IT organization through identifying, coaching/mentoring, retaining and attracting top IT talent.
•    Manage resource assignments and priorities; working with other functional managers to coordinate assignments to projects and other deliverables.
•    Manage the development/configuration and maintenance of application systems by conducting meetings with users to determine their system requirements.
•    Guiding team in solution design on Pricing including Vistex, Service Management including FSM, and other Before and After Market processes like CRM, ARM (Advanced Returns) etc.
•    Support the initiation process for new project requests including analysis of possible solutions, scope definition, resource, cost and schedule planning.
•    Help manage day-to-day support including ticket assignment, prioritization, issue resolution and process enhancements
•    Manage global template for applications to ensure SAP system remains stable and supportable.
•    Ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines are adhered to by team members.
•    Conduct functional and/or technical reviews and walks-through of IT design documentation with the functional and development team members.
•    Act as expert support on business processes in respective area of responsibility.
•    Ensure the release of system changes according to the Teleflex validation procedures.
•    Deliver consistently high-quality service and solutions that meet business requirements and ensure goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.
•    Track, monitor, review, and report project progress where appropriate.
•    Share ideas, information, knowledge, and data proactively to accomplish collaboration for the success of the team, project, or task
•    Work with Senior Business and IT Leadership to determine priorities
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in technical field such as Computer Science or Information Systems. A combination of education and experience with SAP ECC may be considered in lieu of a degree.
•    10+ years experience working in an SAP IT project / support environment.
•    2+ years leading / managing professional level employees.
•    Experience in SAP processes for Order to Cash: Pricing, Vistex, Service Mgmt, Returns, Billing, CRM, ARM, FSM
•    Experience in OTC Master Data, Order Management, Delivery Processing, Logistics/Distribution, Sales Reporting, Customer EDI, 3PL would be preferred
•    Experience in a FDA regulated environment preferred.
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Participation in each phase of an SAP implementation or rollout including Resource Planning, Design, Implementation, Testing, Cutover, and Go-Live support.
•    Analytical Thinking, Problem-Solving and Leadership qualities would be highly rated
•    Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to make recommendations and take actions based on understanding and judgment of all factors involved and based on independent interpretation and application of various disciplines involved
•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities while dealing with changing priorities.
•    Ability to work in a virtual and matrix environment 
•    Familiarity with Solution Manager preferred
