We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to assist in all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires.  Responsibilities include sourcing and connecting with potential candidates, screening applications, and supporting other members of our Talent Acquisition team.  If you have experience evaluating candidates for roles in various fields and seniority levels, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, you will play a key role in hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Design and implement proactive sourcing services for a mix of roles as requested by Recruiters.
•    Source candidates via resume databases and networking sites using basic Boolean search language
•    Develop passive candidate sourcing strategy and pipelines using various methods. Deliver comprehensive support and consultation to business hiring groups in driving sourcing strategy.
•    Drive specialized passive candidate marketing plans to create talent communities. 
•    Build and manage the process to qualify candidates using the available job description information, references, technical screens, and test sources.
•    Timely review of applicants who have applied via the applicant tracking system
•    Identify perceived difficulties with searches and research solutions by collaborating with the recruitment team
•    Proactively and regularly communicate the status of each search
•    Reach out and connect with sourced leads to assess fit and interest in open positions
•    Develop interview schedules to ensure qualified candidates are evaluated
•    Complete phone interviews and document candidate responses, effectively screening in or out of the recruitment process based on position requirements
•    Evaluate candidates against position requirements
•    Provide research support to the recruitment team, including market or salary data
•    Assist with administrative tasks
•    Update candidate statuses in the appropriate recruitment systems (Applicant Tracking System, proprietary systems, etc.)
•    Effectively communicate with candidates via phone or video
•    Ability to support multiple members of the recruitment team at one time
•    Other duties as assigned

Education / Experience Requirements

•    High School diploma or equivalent required.  Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
•    A minimum of two years of experience in a business or office environment utilizing the required customer service and administrative skills  
•    One year of experience in human resources or talent acquisition is strongly desired 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
•    Experience using recruitment technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media tools.
•    Strong interpersonal skills  
•    Good written and verbal communications skills  
•    Basic understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or other recruitment technologies and viewing/actioning candidate profiles  
•    Understanding of basic Boolean language for searching databases
