Position Summary

As Project Manager, you will have responsibility for full project delivery, leading the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and scope, on a range of cross-functional or global projects. You will be required to work on projects of diverse scopes and demonstrate problem-solving ability where data analysis requires evaluating identifiable factors. You must demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining and implementing solutions. 

The role will oversee all aspects of assigned projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare project status reports for senior leadership and maintain ongoing engagement with key project stakeholders. You will be required to lead and direct the work of project team members and exercise a wide degree of creativity and latitude to address and resolve project issues.
 

Principal Responsibilities

•    Lead a team to assess the transition of sites from current processes and systems for label design and change management to the developed Global Labelling System for 3rd party finished good suppliers (PFG).
•    Lead the reengineering of current state processes for Label Design Centres to define the standard controls for working with 3rd party suppliers.
•    Define future state processes, responsibilities, master data management and documentation to support standardization for labelling for 3rd party PFGs.
•    Coordinate project resources for the flawless execution of projects, work with functional managers to secure project resources.
•    The PM is required to develop and work closely with cross-functional project teams to develop, maintain and manage effective execution of project plans, schedules and actions. 
•    Lead the team in the definition of project scope and objectives and drafting of project charter, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
•    Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget following Project Management best practice.
•    Create and manage project activities through Planview - online project management software.
•    Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs through appropriate tools and channels
•    Measure project performance and project risks using appropriate tools and techniques.
•    Establish project governance process in line with global governance practices, report and escalate to management as required .
•    Establish and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders.
•    Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
•    Delegate project tasks as appropriate to project coordinator based their strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
•    Act as the main point of contact for all project related communications through all levels of the organization.
•    Responsible for the gathering of key lessons learned and sharing these to build on project execution knowledge in the organization.
•    Participate in the Project Manager Community of Practice (PMCOP) to learn and understand best practices, templates etc.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor (or equivalent) degree in a business or engineering discipline
•    5 years related experience with a Bachelors degree OR 3 years related experience with a Masters degree
•    PM qualification required - Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
•    MS Project knowledge required
