Position Summary

The Teleflex Anesthesia and Emergency Medicine (AEM) business unit continues to expand, and we are investing for sustained high growth. The marketing team is integral to developing and driving the Teleflex AEM growth strategy through innovative channel marketing and new product development. 

The Morrisville, NC-based product manager will support the development and execution of downstream strategy and tactics for the EZIO Military products (TALON, Manual and Fast 1) in addition to the QuikClot® Hemostatic Dressings for the Military, EMS, Law Enforcement, and Public Access markets (MilTac). The product manager will work directly with sales leadership to devise and drive innovative marketing programs to exceed financial targets.  The ideal candidate is able to manage the day-to-day aspects of building and executing a marketing plan, exhibit strong project management skills and has the business instincts/research skills to explore and pursue new growth opportunities in current and adjacent markets.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Provide day-to-day management of the EZIO: TALON, Manual Needle and Fast 1 devices in addition to the QuikClot® EMS/LE/PA product offerings for the MilTac markets. Work collaboratively with other AEM Product Managers to provide product and marketing support and guidance relative to aligning AEM product offering to the Miltac Sales channels and customers. 
•    Develop and execute: 
o    Tactical plan for the product/portfolio to address short-term revenue objectives, including opportunity mapping and prioritization for Military, EMS, Law Enforcement, and Public Access markets.  
o    Marketing plans for product launch, product training, messaging, pricing and positioning. 
o    Market research initiatives to help develop deep customer insights to guide long-term portfolio vitality to include product lifecycle management.
o    Innovative channel marketing programs and leveraging marketing automation to drive demand and increase win rate. 
•    Collaborate with Marketing Communications to develop and deploy relevant marketing collateral. 
•    Demonstrates flexibility and adaptivity when faced with change.  Effectively adjusts plans when priorities shift and focuses team’s efforts during times of change to minimize disruption.
•    Responsible for key customer development.  Conducts high-level business and product discussions with distribution partners and key market-related influencers and is sought out as a valuable resource.  Continually expands network of customer champions.
•    Develop, maintain and leverage key opinion leader (KOL) relationships for the voice of customer feedback and new idea generation process. 
•    Partner with key stakeholders to define product and service requirements, including clinical and business value for target customer segments. 
•    Collaborate with Clinial Medical Affairs and Training departments to identify end-user training needs and develop approved educational content with AEM Training Team.
•    In collaboration with manager, create and maintain operating plan and budget. 
•    Adhere to and ensure the adherence of Teleflex Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards. 
•    Perform other duties as assigned by immediate manager. 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree required with areas of preference including marketing, biomedical engineering, business administration or other similar degree area.
•    3-5 years’ experience typical, with proficiency in product portfolio management with general supervision. 
o    Prior marketing and/or market development experience with medical device and/or pharmaceutical companies is preferred, but not required. 
o    Prehospital and/or Military marketing experience is preferred, with familiarity marketing to US Military, Law Enforcement, Emergency Medical Services, Public Access and Federal distribution and end-user customers is ideal.
