Position Summary

The Marketing Operations & Analytics Specialist will drive our operational excellence through optimizing systems implementation and data analytics. This role will align and build out marketing operations workflow and reporting and assist in the integration of marketing technology.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Define and shape marketing KPI’s and analytics that will create data-driven insights for our marketing business
•    Transform raw data into highly visual, interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights and drive marketing business decisions for key stakeholders 
•    Ensure tracking systems are set up to measure and monitor marketing performance against established business goals and outcomes
•    Configure and optimize systems and processes between Marketing and Sales to ensure proper lead capture and campaign attribution through the funnel to the closing of opportunities 
•    Support digital marketing campaigns through data analysis and measurement of awareness and lead generation metrics, including data tracking of lead lifecycle and new business outcomes 
•    Manage and optimize Market data products through analysis and collaboration with marketing teams and market data vendors
•    Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance. 
•    Partner cross-functionally and collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, other analysts and stakeholders to gather business requirements and execute marketing operations related projects
•    Participate in ad hoc marketing operations, data and technology projects as needed

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field
•    3+ years  experience within Marketing Operations, Analytics or related field
•    Experience developing interactive dashboards and insights that drive key business decisions
•    Experience with Salesforce.com lead management capabilities and report/dashboard functionality

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Analytical ability — able to articulate, interpret, and solve problems or answer questions with data
•    Proactive in exploring data to find trends, discover KPIs, apply testing and present results 
•    Knowledgeable of lead flow/nurture/scoring best practices
•    Skillset in BI solutions such as Power BI and Tableau as well as spreadsheet data manipulation skills
•    Business acumen—understanding of the opportunities and risks for the business and the role that marketing plays in driving business outcomes
•    Comprehensive verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
•    Ability to work well in a cross-functional team and to build solid strategic relationships with partners and stakeholders at all levels
•    Ability to self-direct and self-motivate with minimal direction
•    Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities
