Position Summary

The Morrisville, NC based Marketing Manager of Pain Mangement and Atomization leads the development and launch of strategies and tactical plans focused on driving stability and growth to two strategic businesses.  The Airway & PURA business is comprised of all Teleflex intubation products and laryngoscopes, endotracheal tubes, , laryngeal mask airways, tracheostomy devices, anesthesia masks, pain management, and atomization products.  

This position is global in nature, with 2 direct reports.  Teleflex Brands represented include Arrow®, LMA® and Rusch®, with annualized sales of $100M, with anticipated growth.

This role will drive product and process innovation, build the company culture, and will work with global counterparts and sales leaders to execute on objectives.  As a Marketing Manager, it is understood that the incumbent will provide excellence in team leadership and strategic marketing, drive change and ensure collaboration through Sales, Regional Marketing, Research and Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Global Clinical Affairs.

Principal Responsibilities

Leadership of Strategic Marketing Planning & Budget
•    In partnership with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, develop overall marketing vision and brand strategy for Pain Management and Atomization products
•    Manage the marketing budget and OPEX 
•    Support and facilitate development and implementation of business unit plans
•    Develop metrics to measure ROI and impact of marketing and investment for growth
Growth Opportunities , New Products and Business Development
•    Identify market trends and growth opportunities for global markets by adapting and optimizing marketing resourcing
•    Negotiate and manage all 3rd party relationships 
•    Collaborate with R&D for new product development 
•    Manage marketing research and 
•    Collaborate with Leadership Team on investment plans for new markets & opportunities
•    Collaborate on forecasting, positioning, pricing and margins for new and existing products with downstream units
•    Lead KOL relationships, Medical Advisory Boards and clinical relationships
Leadership of Marketing Team
•    Contribute to the development of strategic plans to ensure innovation, added value and support in line with annual global operating plan
•    Build a marketing team that is commercially astute, dedicated, innovative and adaptable
•    Foster an environment for others motivation & learning, to attract and retain the best
•    Build a world-class marketing team through attracting & cultivating talent 
•    Champion innovation, build the culture and drive change across the wider TFX group
•    Support the Vice President, Sales & Marketing
•    Collaborate with and influence sales leaders and downstream Marketing for benefit of airway portfolio consistent with a focus of ‘Global Alignment – Local Control’

Education / Experience Requirements

•    A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in marketing is highly preferred, with 5-10 overall years of marketing experience, including experience supervising assistant or associate product managers.
•    Masters degree or equivalent qualification (preferred)
