Position Summary

The Marketing Communications Specialist will support the development of communication strategy and tactical execution in support of the overall marketing goals of the Vascular business unit for North America. This involves a high level of cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders in Product Marketing, Clinical & Medical Affairs, Legal/Compliance, and Regulatory, as well as other functional areas as determined by the project. This role will also be responsible for ensuring communications materials adhere to Teleflex brand standards, corporate identity guidelines, and company policies governing such materials.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Collaborate with product managers to develop marketing communications plans to support business objectives
•    Lead the day-to-day tactical execution of communication materials including collateral, print and digital advertising, email marketing, website content and video development
•    Master the MarCom process, driving cross-functional collaboration to produce compelling communication materials. Materials must be routed through the regulatory system 
•    Manage relationships with external vendors (agencies, printers, photographers, etc.) to complete projects on time and on budget
•    Manage translation of key marketing communication materials 
•    Participate in the planning and execution of marketing communications strategies and programs in support of tradeshows and product-related events for assigned business/product lines
•    Oversee inventory of marketing collateral, managing reprints and rebranding of materials as necessary 
•    Encourage the development of metrics-based components for all projects and programs
•    Work in accordance with Corporate Marketing Communications standards, including using approved vendors, quality and labeling procedures and other processes

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree (in communications, marketing, design, business, or associated fields
•    2+ years professional experience including direct experience in marketing communications, brand management, design, or related areas  
•    Marketing agency experience a strong plus, especially in account service 
•    Experience with Microsoft Office suite
•    Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
•    Time and priority management; ability to manage multiple programs and projects effectively and efficiently 
•    Excellent writing skills and strong verbal communications 
•    Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high tolerance for change.
