Position Summary

Teleflex is seeking a candidate for a Marketing Communications Specialist position within the Latin America Division. ¬¬¬We are seeking a versatile and creative marketing specialist to assist with developing and producing marketing communications projects that build brand and product awareness, improve our customer experience, generate leads, and help achieve organizational objectives. Under the supervision of the Marketing Communications Manager, this role will assist in developing and implementing the marketing communications plans and associated projects in support of the business unit's strategic goals and objectives.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Develop and implement marketing communications plans in conjunction with Marketing. Such plans may include collateral, videos, digital marketing campaigns, website, e-learnings, tradeshows, webinars and events 
•    Support development of strategic creative briefs and tactical project plans. Ensures product messaging is consistent with branding efforts and accurately represented in all materials 
•    Support integrated sales and marketing campaigns that may include digital asset creation, print collateral, channel communications, content management and online advertising
•    Assist in creating social media content for Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
•    Own project management of jobs that must be routed through the regulated system (Agile) and then translated into Spanish and Portuguese
•    Oversee inventory of marketing collateral, managing revisions and rebranding of materials in our 
digital sales application
•    Support implementation of campaign tracking parameters and report metrics
•    Manage relationships with internal and external vendors when needed to complete projects on time and on budget
•    Participate in the planning and execution of marketing communications strategies and programs in support of tradeshows webinars and product-related events for assigned business/product lines
•    Work in accordance with Corporate Marketing Communications standards, including using approved vendors, quality and labeling procedures and other processes

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications preferred, but other degrees could include marketing, business, design or associated fields
•    2+ years professional experience including direct experience in marketing communications, 
project management, content management, digital marketing, and associated areas. 
•    2+ years experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software 
•    Working knowledge and ability to adopt best practices for digital campaigns, social media 
and content management.
•    Resourceful with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and digital tools. 
•    Self-starter, able to think creatively and work independently. 
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
•    Time and priority management, detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task.

•    Experience working in a regulated environment, with healthcare, medical device or pharmaceuticals
•    Ability to think strategically and deliver tactically
•    Ability to provide creative and strategic guidance and focus to team members
•    Ability to lead and influence laterally 
•    Planning, organization, oral and written communications skills, project management, creativity, problem solving, teamwork, resource management, budget management, attention to detail, ethics and values. 
•    Spanish preferred but not required
